Justin, you are my favorite guitar player ever and I've heard them all; I am 70. Really want to thank you for touching my life with your music. You never disappoint. While too many people try to copy Hendrix and emulate the 60's bands, you forged ahead and created a new sound. Let the rest eat your dust. You are fantastic! Keep growing your sound; it's one of a kind!

Heavy "Paris, Texas" vibes. Lost in the lonesome American landscape blues. I hitchhiked around the states for about a year in 2015. This music brings back visions from that journey.
I first went to Texas on my thumb, and left with a future wife in a stolen Chevy SS. The statute of limitations has since run out on both. Memories of '71.
I don't know from what universe you are able to channel these melodic melodies from but every one of your songs brings a calming peace to my brain that is entrancing. For me, David Gilmore comes to mind as another guitarist that does this for me. Every one of your songs are just amazing! Thank you for such brilliant creations!

There is a guitar soul/spirit at work here. It inspires me to find it. I close my eyes late at night playing, trying to finding that connection. My wife says, “It sounds so dark.” Find the darkness then move towards the light?” Otherwise, I am just another dime a dozen guitar player. I am old, so time is ticking down.
Quelle générosité de la part de Justin Johnson de nous offrir toutes ces musiques. Un cadeau fortement apprécié! Merci Justin. (What generosity on the part of Justin Johnson to offer us all this music. A highly appreciated gift! Thank you Justin.)

Storyteller extraordinaire. Men like this come around once in a lifetime. My brother in law turned me on to Justin Johnson over Thanksgiving last year. So grateful that this man shares his talent with the world. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Let me tell you…. This man is a master of his craft. A legend in the making. This not only takes skill, but something in your blood. Your very DNA. -I’m not a very religious person; in the layman’s eye. But I can tell you that music like this makes me believe! I travel almost every day. Many miles. A remnant of the door-to-door salesman. We have now become a company slut. But if I have music like this, after a long day on the road. Talking to, too many people; in a room made for budget and not comfort. Sitting on a king-size bed knowing that I just need one side of the electric blanket switched on, then the realization kicks in; -it gets lonely. But it’s the kind of lonely that music like this makes into a painting. Thank you.
I recognized that ancient lap steel from "Voices from the Attic" as soon as I saw the notification pop up. Magic, haunting, sublime. Such a treat. Thank you kindly for that playlist, Justin. It hits the spot, big time. I already heard most of these tracks individually but that didn't stop me from listening to the whole thing again with pleasure. First piece I ever heard from you was "Ghost from the Mountain" featured on your "Dark Music Blues to Escape to..." # 1, still one of my favorites up to this day. You Sir are without a doubt one of the most inspirational guitarist and finest Blues-man of our time. Best regards from France. Please be well and keep up your great work, partner. If you got more dark blues and lap steel to share with us, lucky viewers, by all means do. Can't get tired of this, 👏🙏👍.
Eleven months ago „@ezradaniel458“ had posted, that „This guy was touched by the hands of GOD“. „His soulexpression takes you to another dimension.“ There is actually nothing more to add to these words of respect. But I would like to add a few words of my own as a tribute to Justin Johnson: I am 67 years old, and, as a music lover, I especially loved the rock- and blues - ballads of the bands in the 60s and 70s. This is where my love for soul- and blues music developed. There were and are many famous blues guitarists, like John Lee Hooker, B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Peter Green, Rory Gallagher, Jimi Hendrix, Gary Moore, Joe Bonamassa, …! But Justin Johnson surpasses them all, because he plays the Blues from his deepest heart and soul. Justin, you have been sent to earth by God, to play your spectacular Delta Blues Guitar, to connect people´s souls together. It seems to me, as if your hands are being guided by angels. Thank You for your incredible and fantastic Blues Guitar Play, that I will love for the rest of my life. God bless You. Kind regards from Stuttgart, Germany.
I am a metal guy for days.... but ive started playing blues because of you. I bought a project super strat because of you. I LOVE THE FREAKING CLOCK DUDE!!!! I used to have one in the early 2000s.
This compilation is so soothing that oftentimes when I put it on to fall asleep to, I’m gone before the second song even ends. I’m convinced that the best way to listen is turned so low it’s almost imperceptible, so the sound can wind it’s way through my dreams like a tendril of smoke on the wind. Someday, I will own your entire discography on CD.
Goodness gracious, imagine Tom Waits singing to some of these? Or, even do a narration to something, with this in the background. Justin always makes me get inspired, then wanna go and pick up my acoustic, play for about 2 minutes, come back and listen to the rest of his stuff, because there’s no way I could match his talent.
Thank you for sharing your soulful music with us,i just found out about your music and you are my new favorite guitarist and you are the 1st blues music I found while looking for guitar tabs to learn because I cannot play a lick to save my life.
I pray for anyone reading this right now, may you achieve everything you want, God be with you. And I hope this channel never ends and continues to spread happiness and this wonderful genre of relaxing music
Morning, i just came across this video and after smoking a big fatty and sipping glass of wine, you sir was exactly what my mind and soul needled... Thank you for crossing my path,
Here cause of my anxiety, this is the one track that help me get over it, I hope everyone gets over their problems. Take a deep breath, it will be over soon
To anyone who is reading this right now, i love you and so do many others. You have nothing to worry about, take a breath and appreciate the good things about this world. Everything is and will be okay, you’ve got this and i love you
This is the perfect background music for my ADHD. Structured enough that it isn't distracting, and just the right amount of unpredictability for it to still be mentally stimulating while I'm working on something else.
I don't know where you come from brother but your guitar just spoke to me and I haven't cried so fucking hard in years ,thank you for reminding me I'm still human through these bs times .we appreciate you man .
This sounds like the soundtrack to a movie where the main character makes a deal with a stranger in a shady tavern in the Deep South and can’t back out after he realises the stranger was the devil and what he’s done cannot be undone. Creepily beautiful

You really are amazing , bro. I don’t know your work aside from these videos but i’m gonna look into it. As a still half-assed guitar player, i’m insanely jealous of ur room full of equipment but I know it’ll be another couple decades b4 I could hope to use it to the effect that you so naturally, and humbly, do. This is music that I can’t imagine anybody not enjoying and relating to.Everybody knows the blues, but your take on it is uniquely beautiful and moving. Thank you so much.👍🏻🤟🏻… you are a guitar 🥷🏿.
This is so unbelievable, it's like magic to me. He makes it look like it's something so simple. I'd have to go to the crossroads to maybe be able to play like this.
You don't play the blues, you released it from your soul. That's how I heard it.
That’s why it’s called( playing with the blues ❤)

Thank you for sharing your soulful music with us,i just found out about your music and you are my new favorite guitarist and you are the 1st blues music I found while looking for guitar tabs to learn because I cannot play a lick to save my life.
I pray for anyone reading this right now, may you achieve everything you want, God be with you. And I hope this channel never ends and continues to spread happiness and this wonderful genre of relaxing music

So glad you started with “voices from the attic”. Love the sound and melody in that song!

Your playing is so incredible and fantastic! I see you as one of the greats of this time!
This sounds like the soundtrack to a movie where the main character makes a deal with a stranger in a shady tavern in the Deep South and can’t back out after he realises the stranger was the devil and what he’s done cannot be undone. Creepily beautiful
Robert Johnson
Great analogy
Really talented bro never stop playing

You really are amazing , bro. I don’t know your work aside from these videos but i’m gonna look into it. As a still half-assed guitar player, i’m insanely jealous of ur room full of equipment but I know it’ll be another couple decades b4 I could hope to use it to the effect that you so naturally, and humbly, do. This is music that I can’t imagine anybody not enjoying and relating to.Everybody knows the blues, but your take on it is uniquely beautiful and moving. Thank you so much.👍🏻🤟🏻… you are a guitar 🥷🏿.
"two riders were approaching, and the wind began to howl..."
In the same mood of Jimi playing "Little Wing"
As a wolf howls into the night under a full moon.
As Death approaches
Light & Sound bring new life.

This is so unbelievable, it's like magic to me. He makes it look like it's something so simple. I'd have to go to the crossroads to maybe be able to play like this.
Bless you Justin! I like creating fictional narratives to your music and singing them slow and growly like a dehydrated desperado
I got a feeling when you go to the crossroads, this is the guy who shows up.
Agree!!
Lol awesome
Most definitely not my guy
. . tall in the saddle like Eastwood with squinty eyes and a 90 yard stare ◾
Nah, it's still Papa Legba and Jack Butler.
Love the Sultry Sensual Southern vibes. Deep music. Justin is most unique and majical being. The gift he shares is profound.💗💗💗
Simply amazing. I listen to this with the sound of rain and I am transported away from earth
