I live in Chile and when I discover this band I don't know that Dave was dead. Since that day I feel strange, wondering about how many people like Dave and his wife exist in this wolrd. People that can feel the "feelings" like them, If those people is near to me? And if something I said frightened them to make music?? And if ai don't have the eyes and the time to meet them? And if I lose someone like him and I don't know? Brown Bird, for me, is one of the best bands ever.
I feel you man, I too discover Brown Bird after Dave was dead and I was shocked when thinking of him, well the fact that I couldn’t hear more new compositions of such outstanding artists was the worst. Saludos desde Argentina.
Perfectly said! I have shared your same experience with brown bird and wondered the same. I try to spread the word about them so they can get the recognition they deserved. It truly is the least for her loss. Simply an amazing talent!
Dude, same. I discovered them 2 years after his death, and once I found out, I cried actual tears. I can’t imagine the pain his wife must endure. He was a magnificent song writer and his lyrics are golden.
