How about an interactive pre-movie fractal zoom? Hook up some beefy GPU to the 4k projector. Invite the audience to bring their red laser pointers. point a webcam at the screen. continuously zoom wherever all the laser dots are pointing. We have the technology. Why aren't we using it?

@maths town making a 3d zoom is actually an interesting idea. Maybe the colors can dictate the depth
