Good choice of patio furniture. Thin black wire lines repeated in the patio mortar joints, the shadow lines of the white shake siding, and the vertical shadow lines of the picket fence echo the black-white vertical stripes of the pillows. Less is more. Nothing fussy or over done. And yes, the unconscious inspiration was that sweet "oreo" of a dog! Love the Brunnera. White caladiums with green veins........ Strong verticals, grasses, or juncus. And that moment........before the arborvitae eats that section of fence, is in itself beautiful. Time waits for no man, or fence!
What a beautiful peaceful garden! I was hoping for another tour of Patty’s garden. Patty, I love how your dog matches the cushions! Thank you Yulia for the tour, and Patty thank you for sharing your garden with us. Just lovely! 🌲
Well done, Patty and Yulia! As lush and generous as this garden is, it is very much a study in restraint, as you mentioned, Yulia. I'll be returning to watch again. And, again and again. ~ Lisa
I love the back black and white patio area in the backyard. The dog is adorable and coordinates well with the black-and-white theme. The arborvitae hedge is a great way to block the noise and create a zen atmosphere. Placing stepping stones through the hedges and even an arched pergola would make an awesome entrance to the backyard. I don't love all the flowers flowing over the sidewalk and hiding that beautiful white fence. It looks a little messy to me, but understand that it is the cottage look and a lot of people love it.
Serenity, peace, and love all work in harmony. Patty and you have created a haven for wildlife and her sweet dog, Terra. The airy and movement of the flowers are mesmerizing. Looking forward to updates. Jersey Ann from NJ
Just beautiful! 💜 Absolutely love the color palette and the simplicity of the plants. The pup matching the cushions is so sweet! Thank you for sharing, Yulia.
You did a great job filming this tour! I enjoyed this update of Patty's garden. I love the pairing of the disciplined color pallette and the whimsical structure of the plants. The way the fence is tucked into border is so lovely. I noticed the pup matched the furnishings just as you said it. 😄
This is my favorite of all your videos- just a perfect work of art. Thank you! It’s such an incredible gift to the neighbors to be able to walk through, along the side walk! I would do it every day 😂
One of my favorites. I planted some dichondra silver falls as a ground cover. It's not performing as well as I expected after seeing it used in one of Jim Putnam's friend's. Perhaps it needed to be planted at least a month earlier. You've made me reconsider trying to seed a small section of what we in the midwest call the boulevard with grass seed. Maybe plant with some steppables such as thyme, ajuga and fill in with shorter ornamental grasses. It's about a 5x6-ft. section at the end of my driveway so gets beat by piles of snow, sun, no irrigation and butts up to my neighbors' nicely reseeded lawn. Maybe I could place some square pavers to separate the properties. So frustrating trying to grown lawn under drought conditions. It's so fun seeing gardens at various times of growth. Thanks for showing Patty's garden. I've "revisited" it many times.
Oh! such a delightful garden. Thank you both. Its like a cottage in the country. Loved the choice of plants and their different textures. The restricted pallette just brings it all together. Can't praise this garden enough. Well done both 👏👏
Such an amazing garden. I luv the natural character mixed with formal elements, hedges etc. So cohesive , everything put together.😍😍👏👏👌 Well done , a beauty to admire 😍😊.
I was looking forward to this tour! This garden inspired me to convert my hell strip into a garden! Looks like Patty took out the cleomes, which looked stunning in this beautiful garden!
I remember the two original videos w/Patty and her garden, maybe 3 yrs ago. I was hoping you would do another video. It has changed dramatically if I remember correctly. It is gorgeous and such a sweet pup.
Such a peaceful garden and I remembered the videos where you planted this hedge (installed the patio...)- so clever and enchanting at the same time 😅😍 hope to see this hedge all grown together in some time 😊
It's very pretty! I grew Cannas this year in both of my tall pots , either side of front door. For the life of me, mine is like hers in that neither blooms at the same time 🙃💚😊
Looks like a dream. Just perfect Yulia. My garden guru. How do you get the Little Bluestem to become so full? I planted it in my garden and it isn't growing well at all. I am in a colder zone though. In Southwestern Ontario.
SO pretty. I remember Patty's garden from a previous tour and it's even more amazing this year! Is the little blue stem the native species or a cultivar?
Beautiful ❤ I was wondering if anyone could suggest how I could get rid of ear wigs that are decimating my dahlias. I am growing them for the 1st time and so disappointed 😢
Quick question if you don’t mind. When doing stepping stones, like the ones between the two patios is there a recommended spacing for the gap in between? Thank you
I’ve never much seen the point of window box plantings- totally changed my mind with these plantings!!!! Gorgeous!!!!
Oh how I love this garden tour. Your work, your voice and how you show us the gardens is so peaceful. that privacy fence is genius
Her seating and lounging areas are truly dreamy and so elegant.

I adore the pallet of pink, blue and purple flowers against green and blue/green foliage 💙💜
That music at the end is beautiful!!! Perfect for this garden tour. Patty’s garden is so pretty and fits her house perfectly! Great job Yuliya!!!

Love seeing updates! The double privacy hedge is such a great idea!
You two brainstorming really make a great team. I remember Patty's garden tour from another yr, the New England Aster's were something else that yr.
I love mixing the flowers with the grasses! The little blue stem with Russian sage color palette is 🤤
Thank you Yuliya & Patty! That window box area is soo lovely and proof positive that green & white are colors 😊 PS - sweet doggie 🐶
You obviously love your work. It shows in your gardens, in your voice & in your face.

Just beautiful! I love the cottage garden feel and the choice of colors. Very peaceful and "magical" as you said. Adorable pup too!💗
this is so beautiful, thank you for sharing.
So lovely, it takes some restraint to stick to a limited color and plant palette, but the result is beautiful!

Beautiful. What was the pink hydrangea at the corner of the patio? Thanks.
Beautiful garden. Thanks for sharing!
What is the grass at 3:49? Where do you buy that. From? I’ve seen you use that in a lot of your projects. Can you please do a video on grasses?
Really enjoyed this garden tour! Thank Patty, too. Would love to see more videos like this.
Glad you enjoyed it!

An amazing garden. I’m redoing my front garden bed and your designs have inspired me to try a meadow style. Cheers Bronwyn 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

Garden 🌱 😍 very beautiful

LOVE this!
Just lovely 😍. What variety of bluestem. So many new cultivars and I’m unsure of which to get.
this is a straight species. I like standing ovation, twilight zone and haha tonka
Didn't know gaura existed before three years ago. White whirling butterflies is perfect for xeriscape.

Beautiful! Tara matches the cushions:) wondering what is the blue ground cover at between 12 minutes and 13? so pretty.
What are the blue flowers at 13:12, and what white flower would you put with them?
What was the purple glo e plant in the front? This is beautiful!
❤❤
Beautiful ❤ I was wondering if anyone could suggest how I could get rid of ear wigs that are decimating my dahlias. I am growing them for the 1st time and so disappointed 😢
Beautiful - question. What cultivar is the bluestem if you know?
this is a straight species. I like standing ovation, twilight zone and haha tonka

Gorgeous!!! Does the verbena bonariensis reseed or is it replanted each year. I grew some from seed and love it, hoping it reseeds.
