Don't heat Thambuli. It is supposed to be eaten cold or at room temperature. If you do not want to eat cold or kept it in refrigerator then keep it outside and let it come to room temperature before using. I hope this helps.

I am from mangalore too, currently living in the UK but had no idea about this dish. I got this plant from a friend and knew about its health benefits but wasnt aware we could prepare any dishes from it😄. I will definitely try it.
