I was waiting to see how you were going to cover your "window " when you'd want less draft and more camouflage! Very ingenious!! As always, you came up with a very clever solution 👍❤!!
Just a warning. Those underground roots are dangerous to start underground fires. It could smoulder for months and turn into a forest fire before making a fire around tree roots please dig them back away from where your fire is going to be. Otherwise love your vids keep it up and keep learning. I'm 61 lived in the canadian bush most of my and I'm still learning.

Well I have and I've seen to many of them either from people's carelessness or stupidity. I'm telling you it's never a good thing to see. I've seen to many acres burn down for no good reason
It would be cool to make these across a mountain range every 5 - 10 miles or so, based on the terrain. So if you had to hike across mountains in winter, at least it would be plausible.

Just home from 2 horrible days in the hospital. I have watched most of your videos and I want you to know how much your philosophy helped me. Oddly, though I am an older woman, the short Way of the Warrior vids have spoken to me most directly. When I was in some pain I consciously shifted my focus to your words about freedom, which calmed and strengthened me. Thank you with all my heart. I will continue to work to refine my understanding of your videos. One question: how do I find again the shot you recently took from the kayak and said you thought it was your best image yet. I think so, too, but I can't find it.
I suspect that also cementing the structure of your underground chimney oven. /whatever you wish to call it gets you. The advantage of storing heat in that structure so that you don't really need to worry about fires going through any kind of root system.. But. I, I think it's an actual concern that people have if they themselves were also creating either a tunnel or a furnace or stove or of an underground that they would as would. I wish to be sure not to contribute to any kind of long-term effects of a fire or destruction of a greater stretch of property.. But I admire your persistence in wanting to create new structures and expanding the use of underground. I keep going back to the word structure. Underground implements that long-term will provide comfort and the focal point of. Being a focus or home focused underground piece. My question is, is this part of the forest that you purchased recently or within the last year? Purchased, and if so, then perhaps you could let us know is this something that we look forward to seeing continued improvements? Over it's use and development
In the previous video you told me: If you wan't to spend free time in nature as a worker, you can aim to acquire a house somewhere outside the city where there is at least some forest or lakes immediately. You don't have as much time, I believe, so better make nature more accessible. And i have another question: I dont have any work rn im still kid but i want to study for job that i can do something like you because i like the nature so much it is like my dream to do something like this, just camping somewhere in the forest have a fireplace next to me and just living like this so now the question is what to study to have work but have free time for bushcraft also, i was thinking that idk if it is right like this in english but forester google translate says forester in czech it is "lesník" so you can try it and translate but i was thinking that would be good job because forester have house in his forest and just doing his bussines in forest like checking trees and watching how animals in his forest are doing so like what do you think i should study to have free time for campings

@@Trondro craft building and natural science. Also geology would help too. You'll learn some skills and learn how to recognize different trees, rocks and plants.
@@viollcaa It will teach you about how to know what to look for in the land as it has developed. Recognizing the kind of rocks ,boulders can help you survive in nature. So can trees and land formation. You'll be able to know if there's water nearby just by learning about geology. Things in nature survive despite it's environment and knowing how to identify them can only help you too.
All those shavings making the cutting board. You should have saved them for starting a fire instead of just throwing them into it. Otherwise cool build!
If you are camouflaging your shelter to keep someone from finding it. That's good. But if you are camouflaging it to hide from people, you need to hide your smoke from your fireplace too. Because airplanes and people in your area cas find your place easy.

For some reason when I read Earth Shelter my first thought wasn't "Oh, he's going to make it in the ground, that's cool as hell" but instead "Earth Shelter? Has he been making Mars shelters?" out of confusion. I shouldn't read my youtube notifications first thing as I wake up, when my brain hasn't decided to function yet.
Please wear eye glasses when you chop wood to protect your eyes cause I can see wood chips flying every where. It will demonstrate a safety practice to viewers.
