    Oil filter(s) FRAM xx10955 - Air filter(s) FRAM xx11050 - 6 quarts 5-20wt oil(purchase 2 jugs)
    Oil drain plug = 13mm - Oil filter cup cap = 24mm
    System reset = Without touching brake turn key to "ON" position(not ACC & wo/starting), depress accelerator pedal fully 3x, turn key "OFF". Total time varies but will require 2 quality beers minimum.

    It's nice that you give the size of the wrench needed to replace the oil filter. Why didn't you give the size of the wrench to remove the oil pan drain plug? Also, you should always put a small amount of oil on the O ring for the filter cap so it does not pinch when tightening the filter cap thus causing a leak.

    Second the recommended Viscosity is 5w-30 not 5w-20

    Other equipment needed, either a lift or a skinny person to crawl under the van. Also, this type of oil pan never really drains completely. If you jack up the car from the front to reach the drain plug, it drains better.

    • @facedeer
      @facedeer ปีที่แล้ว

      I've got a hydraulic trolley jack, some wheel chocks, and a pair of jack stands - should be everything I need to do this safely. My one uncertainty, though, is where the best place to lift with the jack at the front of the car is. Is that big bolt right at the front a good spot? It looks like it's where two very sturdy pieces of metal framework are connected, but I'm hesitant to risk damaging my car over something trivial before tossing the question out to people with more experience than I. Perhaps further back along that piece of metal would be better, where there are three bolts aligned with the front wheels?

    • @carlrice6973
