Hi Vinnie, great video. What is we only want to measure area or volume depending on the subject? I can off course filter it later in excel but is there a way to ask Bluebeam to only calculate what is needed? It would be much easier to read the markup while measuring. Thank you.

I used to work for TOPBUILD and the whole time I was there I never got any training from your company and when I inquired with my HR they were like OH it's something that we just give all our salesman and it I had gotten the proper training I might still be there!!

Great video, thanks for uploading. Have you ever experienced the dynamic fill tool not reading the line weights on any PDF document? I have tried messing with the sensitivity as well as disabling the line weight to no avail. Would love any advice you may have. I have Revu 21 complete if that helps, Thanks!

Hello Angel. Thank you for the comment. We definitely have some materials that we can use for a presentation such as that. If you are looking specifically into drywall and metal stud estimating I would look into the polylength or perimeter tool and assign a “depth” as a height and it should give you the appropriate wall area. You can also use a custom formula column to determine the number of studs based off of the length of the wall. If you have any questions or would like to see a demonstration of this feel free to reach out at info@topconsolutions.com.

This video was very infomative. However I tried to quantity link with custom columns but my custom columns are not showing in excell drop box, What is the way to fix this?

Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately the Quantity Link feature is limited to the standard columns in Revu. One way to get around it would be to add macros into Excel and essentially use Revu and the link to pull data such as counts, areas, etc., and the macros in Excel can calculate or list as needed.

P.O.V : I never used Blue Beam or Plan Swift or Costx or Any other estimation software's but looking to this software workings, to be honest I prefer EXCEL with AutoCAD Drawing / Revit Models are way more comfortable and time efficiency and user friendly. And except Gulf and Asian Countries other all are Countries using this kind of software's, why they don't have AutoCAD or Revit ?
And coming to your video it was good and informative.
