Very information Abbie & Ina. Thank you. A question arises, "how to ensure plagiarism-free content and trust when working with a co-author?"

      That's such a good question @creativethingschannel.
If you're traditionally publishing, you'd usually have something about plagiarism built into the agreement.
If you're self publishing, I would suggest that you have a similar agreement in place to protect you.
There are also lots of softwares available to check plagiarism for you. Lots are paid but you can always use a free version and do a spot check (by choosing random chapters/ sections to check). That's likely to catch it. This goes for AI generated material too and agreeing on the % of AI that you are happy with.
But the main thing would be to work with someone you trust, that you know can and will meet deadlines, and who has similar values to yourself. You can test the deadlines bit by asking for a sample and giving a deadline. If they fail to meet it for a small thing they are likely to fail to meet it throughout.
      I hope this helps!
