    For all of the Americans: in country’s like Australia, japan, India ect we call erasers rubbers. This was just so you don’t get confused with rubbers and protection

      Yes..but if you are from India... Now a days people have started to discourage or at times even ridicule the use of word "rubber" in promote of the word 'erasers' some what on the same grounds where people here now practice elevators more vs Lifts....

      It will last longer if the ink is wiped clean and stored. It is plastic and may harden if it is continuously exposed to sunlight or if it is poorly managed.👍

      There are special wax sticks that you can put in glue guns! They're supposed to be easier to use, and I imagine that they would be if you needed a bunch of wax seals (such as if you were making wedding or party invitations in bulk), but you have to either waste several sticks of regular glue to clean the glue gun after using one color or throw it away to change colors, unless there's some technique to clean the gun that I haven't heard of. I find wax beads quite easy and enjoyable to use, and I imagine that the wax sticks with wicks like candles are even easier.

    • @nicojapaneserubberstamps
      @nicojapaneserubberstamps  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, maybe...however standard rubber tamps will disturb sealing wax shape, because there are a part of rubbers around stamps and wooden handles.

    • @nicojapaneserubberstamps
      @nicojapaneserubberstamps  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@time_to_relax It is not the fault of the material, but the way in which the rubber stamps are made that makes them unsuitable for sealing wax.
      Rubber stamps have rubber present up to the outer part of the impression, and are still surrounded by a wooden handle. When sealing wax is pressed into a standard rubber stamp, the wax picks up the excess rubber and the shape of the wooden handle.
      I will be making a new video of sealing wax soon to help you with this.😉

    • @nicojapaneserubberstamps
      @nicojapaneserubberstamps  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You can not use a regular glue for this rubber stamp.
      The material has been reproduced to have a smooth and shiny appearance when dry, so ordinary glue will probably not give a good shade and the glue will get into the engraved part of the rubber stamp, making it unusable the next time.
