Don't let "plakata" distract you from the fact that the interviewer is the guy Brad Pitt traded for nothing to allow Star Lord a chance to play first base in the big leagues.
And the guy Guerrero plays for is the guy who sold Jonah Hill to Brad Pitt ultimately resulting in the interviewer being traded to give Star Lord playing time.
I mean it cost the Yankees a championship cusz they got Jeff Weaver who went on to give up the WS hit to Alex Gonzalez that won the Marlins a WS if they keep Ted Lilly then who knows who wins If it costs the Yankees a title then its a good trade in my book 👍
Statutory Grape very true. I think it's good a potential star has a very big personality though. It grows the game, which is something the mlb sorely needs
It was a pleasure watching his father play for so many years putting up consistent numbers ever year. This kid has his fathers talent I see him being a star
Carlos Pena seems like such a down-to-earth & nice guy. Vlad “The Impaler” G Sr was a MONSTER. No batting gloves and a beast swing that was probably the fastest bat speed wise & most violent next to Gary Sheffield during their era. Now, its probably Aaron Judge & Giancarlo Stanton who’ve got the mantle of most vicious swing but Vlad the Impaler Jr is about to join them. Toronto is hitting major on bloodline prospects. Vlad Guerrero Jr then how about some more family names? Bichette, Biggio, Conine. How were the Blue Jays able to corner the market on sons of ex-Major Leaguers?
I live 5 blocks from the stadium and lemme tell you it’s rare to see a home run to left field in that park and he’s making it look easy! I played on that field and it’s intimidating. He’s going to be a future star for real
Also I heard that he had first swung the bat at the age of 3 and I think that's very impressive which means my point is that he is a great ballplayer that could ever happened in MLB.
He's definitely one of the top ten player's on the MLB, great personality, awesome clubhouse presence and just an outstanding ball player. Aside from Rafael Devers, probably the #1 Dominican ballplayers in the big leagues...
Nope they shouldn’t and won’t call him up til September at the earliest, and that’s not even a guarantee. Let him develop and not worry about hitting harder pitchers. He’s still got pieces of his game to work out, especially defensively. Let him work on those things and then we’ll be able to watch him to his greatest potential in 2-3 years.
Im always a little bias when it comes to V. Guerrero Sr. he was literally my favorite player growing up. Jr. his a talent for sure. but " as talented "------------" potentially " as his dad. i dont know dude. Sr at his prime was one of the most talented players in MLB history ...... check his life stat's just insane 440+doubles 440+H. over 1500 RBI's, something like 2500 hits . mind blowing .318 life batting avg? didnt even mention his arm in the outfield? and defensive part of the game? all around just a fantastic player.
I became an angles fan due to Vlad Sr. And watching his son destroy, gives me a sense of pride. I envy the Jays. Hopefully history repeats itself, and Jr signs with the halos after being in a Canadian team.
Yeah, can't wait to watch him all the time. Vlad Jr. has the tools to be the absolute best hitter in baseball. Gonna be a massive star. Hopefully the Jays can build a good team around him.
Good thing I’m watching this. Been out of baseball for a year cause a I had football did great in that but it’s time for baseball again BP wasn’t amazing yesterday as I haven’t hit a basbelal in a year and I’ve been out of it for sometime but I’ve started to get back into it that’s ehy I’m watching this gotta fix my timing
They should call him up by the end of this month. No one on the Jays is generating any excitement, so calling him up would bring a ton of fans to the park. This is a win-win (business and team performance/morale).
Case ODonnell it’s actually a lose lose. You’ll probably end up ruining his development by doing that. Keep him in AA most of the year, promote him to AAA near the end of the year (August) and then call him up for September. He still has a lot of his game to iron out, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Be patient. In 3 years we’ll really have something.
@@oilersman95 they're definitely calling him up late April early May according to most experts. Only reason he isn't starting with the big club is because of the extra year of service time.
As much as I would like to see this kid follow in his dad's footsteps, I have the feeling he'll put on too much weight as he ages & will not be a long time star. Enjoy it while you can kid.....
Don't let "plakata" distract you from the fact that the interviewer is the guy Brad Pitt traded for nothing to allow Star Lord a chance to play first base in the big leagues.
And it worked.
In the long run this was a terrible trade
And the guy Guerrero plays for is the guy who sold Jonah Hill to Brad Pitt ultimately resulting in the interviewer being traded to give Star Lord playing time.
I laughed big
I mean it cost the Yankees a championship cusz they got Jeff Weaver who went on to give up the WS hit to Alex Gonzalez that won the Marlins a WS if they keep Ted Lilly then who knows who wins
If it costs the Yankees a title then its a good trade in my book 👍
He just hit effortless consistent homers oppo off a tee. I don't think most people watching this have any idea how hard that is to do.
anvilmarauder it took me a bit too work out why. You get used to a tee being to make contact easier but it makes the force so much less
There are a lot of pros that can't.
Casual Outdoorsman if carlos pena couldn't do it pulling it im damn shure its pretty difficult.
Casual Outdoorsman cool what pro ball club did you play for.......... I'll be waiting
18 years? And you think that?
Man if you played 18 years, I must've fucked a leprechaun because both are equally unlikely.
Glad Carlos finally explained, "PLAKATA!" lol. Love Carlos's enthusiasm on MLB Network
I still regret not seeing him play when he was in AAA, dude's a beast
Here 3 years later and he is about to become the youngest Triple Crown Winner in history 🔥🔥🔥
Carlos used to be a quiet player. Never thought he would be so good in media
Indeed.
no actually i didnt see that because the cameraman didnt follow the f ing ball
Very gregarious kid with effortless power. Hope he becomes a star like his dad
His dad was quiet and well mannered. He seems to be the opposite. Both can crack the ball tho.
Statutory Grape very true. I think it's good a potential star has a very big personality though. It grows the game, which is something the mlb sorely needs
funny you use that word. He is from a own call Don Gregorio in DR
Statutory Grape how is he not well mannered?
Keegan Ramjit exactly my question xD
He is so calm man the way he swing it. His swing is amazing
Love Carlos's enthusiasm on MLB Network!!!
It was a pleasure watching his father play for so many years putting up consistent numbers ever year. This kid has his fathers talent I see him being a star
Draven BBS I agree with you
Well he is a star
Being born and raised in Montreal i hadd the privilege of seeing his father play... but his son..He s a machine... no effort at all ... PLAKATA!!!
A year later this kid killed on the Home Run Derby..
Plakata😄
Plakata ! 🇵🇷🇩🇴
He got his pops Swing✅Vladimir Guerrero was def 1 of my favorite ballers on the plate & the field💯🔥
the velocity/ power generated by his swing its truly something special & way-way above average .
Toronto 'Jays you got yourself a PLAYER my friends.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr is just a beast
2:36 that woman's reaction sums it all up
Carlos' enthusiam is great!
His "load, hold, fall, push and attack" are the ideal. Nothing wasted. Nothing blocked!
“She espread her legz then PLAKATA”
Awesome demo
Don’t no anything about mechanics, but this was a great showcase. Love this kid, he seems so happy and grateful.
Gorgeous Swing
Love this kid he’s gonna be a good player
Vladdy jr is gonna be a BEAST!
Vlad Jr putting NH on the Map! Go Fishercats! As much as I want him to stay in AA forever I can’t wait to see this kid get to the bigs
hands down, best prospect we've ever had
THAT. WAS. AWESOME. !!!
Vladimir jr is wrecking mlb. 4 hr in only 6 games that’s PLAKATA.
this is terrifying. He only spent three weeks in AAA.
This kid is gonna be a stud and already is
I love it !!! I love this !!!!! I love them !!!!!
The Blue Jays fans are in for a treat!!! This kid is scary good!!!
Can't wait till this guy is in the majors
Giving Domingo Ayala a run for his money
Insane power....
Plakata makes perfect.
Gracias Sr. Vladdy, tu swing es tan impresionante como tu padre, pero tienes más poder potencial. Disfrutaré los años que juegas.
Love it when he says cookaracha.
Can't waaaaait to see him come up here to Toronto and start hitting PLAKATAS for the Blue Jays!!! best prospect we've ever had, hands down!!
You all have another prodigy in Bo Bichette. His father was a good player too.
I envy you, Jays fans. Your tea,m might not end up doing much this year, but you have THIS to look forward to.
Shane McNelis literally all I care about this season I look at his numbers everyday and it puts a smile on my face
oakss_ lmao same and also with bo bichette & cavan biggio
Djack7 vladdy hit a walk off dinger today lmao
Djack7 ya man them 3 are al studs can’t believe biggio is swinging the bat better than bo in AA
VoltaikB Is boss he might end up being a DH, you don’t have to be a great athlete not worried about his weight
He's a beast!! Natural hitter! DR stand up!
Also Canada, he is Canadian.

That's what I called raw talent
Future hall of fame hands down 🇩🇴🌏
Nice.
I can watch Vladdy Jr. hit all day
carlos is the MAN
Believe he's that dude!!
Blue Jays gotta call him up
Pswizzle13 no, don't rush him.
Soon. After they trade JD
hes batting 410 definitely

Serious power

Hope he can have a good team around him though so he can win some championship
C. Pena= Awesome!
today is the day he goes plakata
Almost...he crushed that ball to left. I am excited to watch him play.
As a Jays fan, this makes me sooooooo excited for the future 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Stormie33 if Bichette, Biggio, Jensen, etc. all become stars as well, I see a really good team to surround Vladdy in the future
He should join the marines, best artilleryman ever

Legit didnt realize who the interviewer was until he started swinging then I remembered thats Carlos Peña
Born to win 😁
He may do what Acuna did last year my god the sound off his bat .
Plakata🙏👊💪
Hitting Plakatas... LOL!!! Vaya Papa'.. !! That kid is good to go.
What can Vlad Jr. not do? Avoid the buffet. He's going to eat himself out of baseball.
Hey they’re in New Hampshire. My home state
Vlad Jr. is impressive with his hitting because no one can hit HR's off a batting tee also I like the word PLAKATA because it sounds cool.
I used to hit like this. But then I woke up.
This kid, guriel jr and tellez the blue jays future looking bright all they need is pitching
PLAKATA!
I would love to stay at the hotel lol
*PLAKATA*
He's phat like Bartolo.
lol guess we just found his new nick name. big-sexy 2.0
I would say, more like Cecil Fielder!

He’s actually stupid good
Plakata
Super star
anyone else remember this field from mlb the show 18?
Thought it was just me, I thought all there fields were fake
What field is this?
New Hampshire Fisher Cats' stadium perhaps? (Northeast Delta Dental)
Another reason to continue watching the Jays.
He don't have too much future with blue Jays though but it's gonna be exiting for basseball fan to watch this kid develop in mlb
how does he not have a future with the jays lol third base is pretty dry after donaldson. What a retarded comment.
@@blueg3027 I meant future trying to win a world series
I’d love to stay at that hotel while Vladdy’s taking bp.
Usually having a father excel in sports, their sons dont so well. Usually hyped and done. Vladimir jr might be an exception.
What was Bobby Bonds's son's name? What ever happened to him?
Brett Hull in hockey
plátano paweer
