@@SmithCoronaLabels I find out on Tuesday or get a panicked phone call from work on Monday if it didn’t. I am hopeful it works out though.

Hi, we have a 630 and we use 2x1.25 labels with gaps. In the 630 settings, I only get the option of Gap/Mark, and using that causes it to not read the gap. So when I try to calibrate or press feed it prints 8 labels every time. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi there! When selecting the media type for the Zebra ZQ630, there should be three options: Gap/Notch, Mark, and Continuous. If you are using gap sensor labels, then you should select Gap/Notch. After you select your media type, we recommend performing a label length calibration under the "tools" selection. Perhaps performing a factory reset on your device will solve your problem. To do this, hit the "tools" button, and scroll until you find the option "Load Defaults". Enter in your default password, select factory, and press load. Just know that if you perform a factory reset it will remove any previous saved information or settings you have on your printer. We hope this helps, please keep us updated on your progress!

@@SmithCoronaLabels This was straight out of the box from Zebra. Weirdly enough it actually works correctly if it's set to Mark even though there's definitely no mark on our labels. So, it's all good now. Sorry to bother you guys with this, just wanted to put something here in case someone else ends up here like I did. Thanks.

That is a bit odd that it works on mark rather than gap/notch. We're glad that you solved your problem though, no bother at all! Thanks for asking for our help!

Set the power on option from no motion to calibrate. Had the same problem myself. I set it. To that and labels come out as they should now

Does it work with linearless labels?

Good question! Yes, you can use linerless labels with the Zebra ZQ630.

Hello, please help me. I have ZQ630, i try to calibrate but still not working, the message is "Media out load media". This is the settings i have setup.
    Media type : Continuous labels
    Width/Length : 3/3 inches
    Media handling : Rewind
Media feed options : No feed
    Backfeed : No backfeed
    What did i do wrong?

    • @SmithCoronaLabels

Hi there! Do your labels have any gap or sensor mark between them, or is it just one large roll of labels? We just want to make sure that your labels are continuous and not gap/notch or sensor mark because a mistake in that setting could cause a "Media Out" error. If you are using continuous labels though, and you've tried the calibration method shown in the video, you can try turning your printer on and off, and unloading and reloading your labels. If this doesn't solve the issue, you also could try factory resetting your device. Be careful when you do this though because it will remove all of your saved settings. To factory reset it, you're going to select the "Home" button, then scroll over to "Tools", and then scroll right until you see "Load Defaults Factory" and press "Load". Please let us know if any of these solutions help!

@@SmithCoronaLabels i am using the continousl label. After i check it again, the problem is because the setting is changed when i try testing the printer. Why it is happened?

Are you saying that you'll change your media type to continuous and then it doesn't save this setting? Sorry, we're just trying to understand!

No you're fine, we just wanted to make sure! Is it possible that the software you are using has different settings saved than your printer? If the settings don't match, this could be causing your error. Here's an article Zebra Technologies posted about this issue, it might be able to solve your problem: supportcommunity.zebra.com/s/article/Printer-Settings-Change-When-I-Print-a-Label?language=en_US Please let us know if this helps!

I don’t remember my password and I tried 1234 but it didn’t work.
How can I reset my password???

    • @SmithCoronaLabels
      @SmithCoronaLabels 3 ปีที่แล้ว

The default password for the Zebra ZQ630 is 1234. It's possible you could have manually changed your password. To remove this manual password and return to the default password, you will need to return your printer to the default setup mode. Be cautious when you do this because your printers configuration settings will also return to their default settings. To return your Zebra ZQ630 to the default setup mode, you need to download the Zebra Setup Utilities through this link www.zebra.com/us/en/support-downloads/printer-software/printer-setup-utilities.html . Once you have added your printer, click open communication with printer, type in ^XA^KP1234^JUS^XZ and click send to printer. Your printer will then return to the default settings and your password should be 1234. Let us know if this works for you!
