Coast Guard Tech Talk - Paddle Safe - Evidence Based Paddling Safety from the ACA, Part 1 of 2

Paddle Safe is freely offered for use by the paddling community. The program provides evidence-based risk management approaches intended to help paddlers have a safer time on the water, in the belief that safer paddling is more fun.
Presenter: Robin Pope, Ph.D., PA-C, FAWM, Deputy Director of the USCG Auxiliary’s Recreational Boating Safety Outreach Directorate. Dr. Pope has more than 3 decades of experience in paddling education. He holds the American Canoe Association’s highest possible instructor ratings in both swift water rescue and whitewater kayaking and was recently named a “Legend of Paddling” by the ACA.
