Hey steve , ok so first i would have ur coffee machine on a 90' swival so it can be accessed from inside then tuen 90' and access it from the tailgate. Going on to the roof etc u can buy kits that are ready to be installed for halos etc even with speaker pods if required. Alcantara now have a product with a sticky back already installed but i cant remember the company that does it. Great ideas tho and looking forward to the new look. Have fun
🙌🙌thanks buddy, this is great and I like the sound of the sticky backed Alcantara! I will have to try and find this as I would much prefer than relying on the spray adhesive’s. Will do some googling! Also great idea on the coffee Thank you👍.
Hi steve just what I was thinking, a carbon fibre pop top from van haven would look fantastic, plus if your planning on sleeping in the van downstairs how about a 40 winks bed with an ovano draw system underneath. Also is your van sound deadened and insulated. A diesel heater would be a fantastic addition as you can also use this to pump hot air into the awning 👍keep up the fantastic work steve 🤟
Hi Shane, Yes I say the pop top idea has been on my mind many times. I can say if we were a family of 4 instead of 5 I would have done this right at the start. On the insulation front, I have had it done and definitely considering a diesel heater at some point too👌
Hi Steve! Cool ideas vor the Van! I'm exited to see wich decision you will make for the bed. In my swb Van i use the Vanable bed wich keeps the Van very flexible. Even if i'm too lazy to take it out ican still transport larger stuff.
You should wrap the celling in alligator fabric and red alcatara😎. but im looking forward to see what you do with the bed cuz im just about to start building my own bed😁😁
I’d just build the cupboard parts from laminated board for around the coffee machine. Still wipeable if needed and wouldn’t need a huge piece by the looks of it. Could always add a bit of colour contrast with the laminate.
I love my Ovano. 200kg rated drawer which pulls right out. Would 100% recommend. Great Vlog Steve. Good luck in whatever you choose. I’m also a fan of the Halo roof with suede effect inner panel 👍🏼
@@SteveField I’ll take a look cheers, I’m just in the middle of full respray and colour change / facelift to 6.1 from t5 and vr6 engine swap with dsg, had a donor car that failed mot for rust so had the idea to upgrade my van… a lot more involved than I originally thought though, hating the bodywork prep, the roof was a nightmare for dints, I’ll check out your other videos cheers 🍻
Hi Steve line the coffee machine recess with black perspex. You could even have some led strip lights in there too.
Thanks buddy…Sounds like a great idea 👍👍

Hi Jens, That’s interesting I shall have a look at that option to see if there is anything I can gain from it ideas wise 🙌🙌
Hi Steve,
Why don't you have a pop top fitted that way you can keep the seats for the boys and still have somewhere to sleep should you need to.
I have definitely mulled the idea over to go down the pop top road… jury is not out on that yet 👍

Raptor paint the coffee cupboard Steve, tough as old boots and black will blend away but look professional
Yes this would be a good idea and avoid delams! 👍

Ovano system ,so you keep your rear seats and have a kitchen pod in the ovano draw
Sounds nice!!! I will take a look at the Ovano options as the quality looks great from what I have seen👍

Hi Steve, you got air suspension or coilovers bottomed out ? I like the idea of air suspension but it’s pricey
Yeah I have air. I have done a couple of video on the system and the install if your interested. Check out my main vids and you’ll see them 👍
