My priest friend has developed some pretty obscure farms which he claims are profitable and fun. He's a weird guy and does stuff no one else does, but I'll share some of the ones he has showed me. I haven't personally tried these on a priest, so I don't really know how good the farms are, so the list I provide will not be in any particular order. 1. Burning Felguards in Lower Blackrock Spire. Just Mind Control mobs or otherwise chain pull the entire upstairs floor, and then run to the Scarshield Infiltrator (safe spot) and wait for aggro to drop. The Scarshield Warlocks will leave behind portals that have a chance of summoning Burning Felguards which are considered "rare mobs" and they drop a sword that vendors for 4g 41s, or gloves that can be disenchanted into a Large Brilliant Shard. They also have a ~7% chance of dropping Demonic Runes, and they also drop Felcloth as well. 2. Stonebark Gloves, Petrified Bands, Eidolon Talismans/Cloaks from Dire Maul: West. He showed me this farm once as we were waiting for our tribute group to arrive, and we actually looted the gloves which were worth 400g at the time! You just pull ghosts and trees, and then use a specific ledge to cause mobs to run around a long path. You can do this as any class, but a priest works particularily well, as you can SW:P and Renew effectively. There's also a chest you can pick, but that's sometimes locked. My friend used this technique to solo himself Mindtap Talismans, too. He said pulling that off was hard and unreliable, but perhaps with better gear you can even weave a boss kill into this farm. If you can do it, Kalendris has a chance of dropping the rare and valuable tailoring pattern for Big Bag of Enchantment among his other drops. 3. Highlord Omokk in Lower Blackrock Spire. This one is pretty fun, since you can use so many different priest abilities to your advantage. You start off by using Mind Soothe on everything, then you jump with Levitate, use Psychic Scream on trolls, then run to a safe spot using Mind Soothe again, and then you begin systematically decimating the ogres before Omokk by Mind Controlling them, dotting them and making good use of your Vampiric Embrace and Mind Flay if you're shadow. I think this farm is more of a fun challenge and a way to solo Skyshroud Leggings/gem, but my friend says he can now do an Omokk solo run in under 20 minutes every single time. This means he's getting at least ~3-4g from trash per run, and a Large Brilliant Shard or a 6g vendor mace. If a run takes about 18 minutes, this will average out to about 25g/hour if you don't get any rare spawns. about 1/3 of all resets have either a Spirestone Butcher, Spirestone Battle Mage or a Spirestone Mage Lord who all can be soloed and all drop valuable vendorables. When you take the rare spawns into account, you should be looking at about 35g/hour, which is not that terrible, although still quite bad. 4. Lasher farm in DM:E. Mostly done by mages, but can also easily be done by priests with Holy Nova. 5. Rotgrip, Princess Theradras and Tinkerer in Maraudon. Easy and profitable. Not much to say, except being an herbalist is a huge bonus.
No mention of Inner Mara? As a fresh 60 shadow priest you can skip all the trash and just kill the goblin and Princess. Just vendoring their loot gets you 30g per hour. If you're an herbalist you can pick all the Blindweed and Ghost Mushrooms and that bumps it up over 50g per hour.
Like I say at the start of the video pal, i avoid spec specific or gear requiring options, and also profession requiring farms. That being said if you are shadow and or have herbalism then these are indeed great options
Decent informative video. But don't claim you're walking around in freshly dinged trash gear when you have stuff like Anathema and Truefaith Vestments.
@@its_sneaky You pull the mobs with r1 SHP, then you keep them aggroed using r1 Holy Nova. Once you have a big bunch you kill them with max rank Holy Nova.
An excellent farm indeed, but it does require a talent build including holy nova in my opinion, and at least a little bit of gear, and I wanted to keep the list to things any priest can do, if you can do it it's an excellent option though!
Not sure its worse then warrior when it could do solo dm east runs as well as princess runs. Those were some of the most profitable farms in earlier phases. Sure its not a mage or a hunter but priest is able to do some pretty good dungeon farms that many other classes cant. Im surprised you didnt mention goblin/ princess runs because i was able to do that in very early on my holy priest and it definitely has very minimal gear requirements , you can kite her indefinitely with speed on your boots.
Thank you very much! Can be frustrating to see videos that need top tier gear to manage, that's useful too but a guide for the freshly dinged has its place too :) glad you enjoyed :)
You can indeed, however like I said in the video, that has both a gear requirement and a profession required, both of which I was avoiding for this video :)

Or you could just run through the whole dungeon from purple or orange entrance and pick up 8 ghost mushrooms per run.

Farm Light Feather in northern barrens. They sell, along with Wool Cloth, Moss Agate, greenies can sell. I can make 120g an hour.
Can you tell me more?
@@its_sneaky You pull the mobs with r1 SHP, then you keep them aggroed using r1 Holy Nova. Once you have a big bunch you kill them with max rank Holy Nova.
Right now Light Feather goes for 50silver and Im sure green items are still good to sell with all the people returning and levelling alts.
@@rasmusjensen4838 oh cool ok. Do you sell them as stacks ? Also green sell as they are in ah?
I like the mind control idea
And above ALL of these gold farming methods, the one that stands out the most is to just roll an alt, and make money on that.
what about dme flower killing?

Great video man, are any of these farms viable on Hardcore? Or too risky?

Nice, that the good video, fresh 60 , normal gear !

Ty man! Really needed this video
You can solo dm east way better gold per hour with arcane crystals
You can indeed, however like I said in the video, that has both a gear requirement and a profession required, both of which I was avoiding for this video :)
how much is dm east per hour?
Good one!
what did i just watch xD
I am guessing a TH-cam video.
