Wilkerson made one of the greatest catches I've ever seen. Fenway Park, last game of the 2019 season iirc.

Never gonna forget that one. One of the most visually stunning catches ever made.

Wilson Valdez did this in like the 17th inning in 2013 or something. He had to pitch against the meat of that early 2010s reds lineup, like Joey Votto

Put Anthony Rizzo in there if he is on your team. .6 innings pitched with a 0.00 ERA and a strikeout against Freddie Freeman of all people.

I was at this game actually the entire time. The angels drive in the winning run in the 13th or 14th or something. But David fletcher was called out. They reviewed it and everyone cheered cause he was clearly safe. Got called out and a few innings later we lost. Sad.

Forgot to mention it was bottom on the 16th inning that’s why this was made.

When you’re used to mid to upper 90’s having to face mid 50’s is difficult. Goodwin and Pujols didn’t miss their pitches by much.

@@TheGodYouWishYouKnew they might throw bp at lower speeds but they also pitch from about 40 feet to make it more similar to game speed. Although if they did throw that slowly from full distance players would adjust. Having a routine of bp at a slow speed is different than having to face that when you’ve facing mid 90’s 4 times and almost every ab of your career. Yes, they would adjust eventually but to do it in one ab is tough.
