Luh, full chest voice daw yung kay Laarni eh may daya nga eh kapag long high sustain notes. Samantalang kay Katrina long high straight notes but added some difficult runs na siya lang yata nakakagawa ng ganun kaganda.
Lahat sila gumamit ng mix dahil natural yun lumalabas. It's impossible to belt with FULL CHEST VOICE in the 5th octave. Basta birit mix yan. May chest dominant lang pero mix pa rin yun.
Regine Velasquez first singer that I've heard who could outstage some other singer with her sky rocketing high notes that you couldn't even hear others belt. Then I got surprised and happy at the same time that there's another one. :) congrats Kat. ! You deserve more.

Laarni's classical training is very evident in this performance. She has a very controlled vibrato even in the highest notes. Amazing. Katrina on the other hand is very raw and powerful, some notes were shaky because her performance was overflowing with emotions! Kudos to both singers!

Wow! Grand showcase of Pinoy talent ❤️🙌🏻 Equally matched pero different styles. Katrina sings with full chest voice - yung birit nya is very powerful yet sounds just like her speaking voice. Her high notes don’t sound rounded and nasal meaning she really has the pipes to belt out. Laarni on the other hand sings with mixed technique similar with the way people who are trained in choir and classical music sing. Her range is very wide and she appears to be very comfortable in the upper range because she can easily shift to head tones. If I may, I’d say their singing techniques are somewhat similar to Regine (Kat) and Lani (Laarni). No doubt that they can sing and boy can they sing very well. There’s no competition over here, just a good showdown done tastefully for the benefit of the audience. Good job ABSCBN! Well-done Katrina and Laarni! You both deserve to have regular appearances on TV. ❤️

Katrina Velarde's performance is so heartfelt and is undeniably good in technical terms. Some people say it isn't flawless, maybe yes maybe no but the thing here is she was able to make us feel the message of the song. Many people don't have any idea the struggles she is going through lately and she still offered everybody a super amazing performance. Solid ang high notes ni Katrina! Song difficulty level 100000 ang Sana Maulit Muli. Laarni is also good, pero may daya ang birit, falsetto-ish lang, which is not wrong at all, pero di nga lang totoong natural voice ang ginamit. Both are very good singers! But Katrina, for me, won this battle. 😁✌🏻

Laarni's classical training is very evident in this performance. She has a very controlled vibrato even in the highest notes. Amazing. Katrina on the other hand is very raw and powerful, some notes were shaky because her performance was overflowing with emotions! Kudos to both singers!

Equally matched pero different styles. Katrina sings with full chest voice - yung birit nya is very powerful yet sounds just like her speaking voice. Her high notes don’t sound rounded and nasal meaning she really has the pipes to belt out.
Laarni on the other hand sings with mixed technique similar with the way people who are trained in choir and classical music sing. Her range is very wide and she appears to be very comfortable in the upper range because she can easily shift to head tones.
If I may, I’d say their singing techniques are somewhat similar to Regine (Kat) and Lani (Laarni). No doubt that they can sing and boy can they sing very well.
There’s no competition over here, just a good showdown done tastefully for the benefit of the audience. Good job ABSCBN!
