"A quick, four-step process." Video is nearly 24 minutes in length.

It’s funny how the person they need is always just a few feet away. In real life, they’re never anywhere to be found.

Back when they didn’t babysit the customer. Now you’re expected to give the customer a reach-around

Ahhh man.... A lot places expected you get on your knees and kowtow to every dumb f**k who walked through their door, even back then.

Now they walk you to the location if you ask where something is, it's always awkward and I'd rather find it myself. That's most of the reason I don't ask anyone where something is anymore, I just need some info not a new buddy.

Just look at those aisles of toys!! Nothing today compares to TRU in its golden age. What a time to be a child in the 80's and 90's. I miss THIS era of TRU so very much.

Keeping the store clean... that's a new one... in the final years they were dumps and the employees were not great either.

That's the result of a private equity firm cutting hours and freezing wages. Pay bottom-barrel prices, get bottom-barrel workers.

The mafia type guy who can chew you out in seven languages at 0:24 and elsewhere in this presentation has hair crawling so far down his back that the customer needs only to grab it to get his attention.

I miss toys r us. It’s just sad there isn’t a chain store for toys anymore. Target or Walmart isn’t the same.

For real. Target and Wal-Mart just don't have the same awesome vibe Toys R Us had.

Crazy how the bosses refer to all potential customers as she.

I miss Toys R Us! They had really great toys, like Lalaloopsy, Lego Sets, Dolls, etc. They're my childhood.

"Chemistry set? Ok what you're gonna want to do is first, pivot left at a 43-degree angle from your current spot here in 13B. Proceed forward until you encounter the life-sized Lego Darth Vader, but don’t walk past it-turn right immediately. You’ll notice an aisle labeled “12C,” which is your sign to go backward three paces and then veer left into the Barbie vortex (don’t look directly at it; it’s blinding). Keep moving until you see a shelf of unorganized clearance Nerf guns; there, turn left again into what seems to be a wall-it’s not, it’s the entrance to the main part of the store. At that point, 3C should be visible... unless it’s been relocated due to the annual aisle shuffle. Good luck!"

i worked at toys r us for about a decade and the very first guy should have walked her over to the product so he could answer any more questions she had.
Second person should have helped the guy choose, etc

    • @GeekFilter

That's what I thought. I thought they would say something like "While he was on the right track, what he really should have done was to walk the customer over to the aisle and point out what she was looking for."
