I mean chapter 5 being the last would make a lot of sense -chapter 1 was merely a proof of concept really. -chapter 2 was a little like a more polished prototype. More gameplay and an antagonist. -chapter 3 is the “turning point”, this isn’t just a silly kids game. This is DARK and TWISTED and there’s an actual narrative here. -chapter 4 is the bridge into chapter 5. It’s kinda filler in my eyes -and chapter 5 is presumably in the labs itself. Poppy Playtime is a huge moneymaker for Mob Entertainment so coming to an end could be risky, but I think all the merch has that covered.

It really seems like it will end in Chapter 5. We'll get to know more about the prototype and eventually kill them, but I do hope Mob Entertainment cooks up something that takes place before Playtime Co. was abandoned to further the story and possibly find out what made the doctor do all this in the first place.

Well, maybe. We may only get one more chapter. We kill off the prototype, end all these suffering toys even. We get out of the factory (With our lives we will have to see) and get our ending to one of the best horror game(s) in the past few years.

I used to believe Mob was greedy enough to go beyond 7 chapters... ...Until Chapter 4 made me consider that there *couldn't* be more to the story after beating the Prototype... Who's the only other main villain aside Sawyer, whom we already beat in Ch.4... So now I think it could either go two ways: 1. It ends at 5 chapters like Bendy's first game did back in the day. (if they want to expand the story and the world of PPT, they could make sequels like how the Bendy team made The Dark Revival. Poppy Playtime 2, Poppy Playtime: The Sequel, who knows.) Or 2. They decide to stretch out the main game even after dealing with the Prototype to introduce a last-minute threat that will span more chapters, much like how the Nightmare Critters and Pianosaurus were made and put into the chapter rather quick, despite them not being in the original script. (Now, This sounds like it could be the worst case scenario, but considering some things that have happened with Mob before, it could as well be possible.) I'm hoping for option 1 'cause then the original game could be complete *before* the official film is to be released in the future. The announcement of it bothered me only 'cause the main game isn't even done, so it would feel more reasonable to me if they went with that. I think a good way a revival of the game could be executed is of either the same player finding out there is another factory and or a new player with a completely different story with a factory set elsewhere like Britain or Continental Europe or hell even China or somewhere in Asia then the idea of a revival could possibly work (Personally I would want a new game set in Britain or Australia idk why those just sound funny to me) funnily enough I have my own concept of a British setting for the game

6:25 in my opinion, I think it's because huggy is a security system (has security cameras as eyes and can set off the alarm), and we basically break into this abandoned factory. so it would make sense that the game's icon is the security we're facing
I honestly think that a crew that can actually finish a story and let it go to move on to the next project is better than a group that just keeps making more of the same story, eventually killing it.

Here are some questions that are on my mind. 1) What evidence does Poppy have that proves the orphans are still alive? Do we just have to take her word for it? 2) Why didn't The Prototype release the orphans instead of keeping them in Playtime Co.? 3) Poppy still haven't given her explanation about anything. Did she really know The Hour of Joy was coming? If so, how do we know she won't betray us?

3 makes me feel like Sawyer (The Doctor) will make a return because of The Prototype, since Sawyer tells the player about poppy, and her part in the hour of joy, yet it never gets brought up again which makes me think he'll return and probably snitch on poppy, making the player stop teaming with poppy, but idk, just a theory.
There won be enough room for killing the prototype and stuff in chaper 5 alone due ro the prototype would die at tr end ofghe chapter and then chap 6 woul be about escaping the play co once and for all

I think that in the end we will get to choose to either kill Poppy or the Prototype. After all, the Prototype was real to his cause and didn't kill us despite the countless opportunities. Poppy, on the other hand, has betrayed both us (twice) and poor Doey.
I had a cool idea for the ending of chapter 5: once we make it to the location the prototype is keeping the “orphans” a boss battle ensues where we defeat the prototype and he either passes out or runs away. after we defeat him depending on whether the orphans are real or not we either save them and detonate some bombs we planted, or we just detonate them. whichever after the bombs are detonating we make a mad dash to the front entrance from chapter one where on the way there are countless old and new antagonists chasing us such as huggy, possibly mommy if the prototype repaired her, catnap if he was repaired as well. all ending with them being trapped under fallen debris. then once we think we’re safe the prototype emerges from a large fire and begins to chase us until we reach the front door, in which a final cutscene plays where the prototype grabs the protagonist’s leg and pulls them back and both the protagonist and the prototype die from being crushed by fallen debris.
I like the idea other then protagonist dying bc we don’t even know them and I think we should learn more about them maybe in like a sequel or smh but I feel like them dying could happen too
I feel like Huggy and the Prototype (who I theorize is Boxy Boo) will kidnap us in chapter 5, then The Prototype shows himself to be Boxy Boo and the next few chapters till chapter 10 we see the full prospective of Boxy Boo (Like Huggy and Boxy be the opposite, like the dark Avengers version of Kissy and Poppy) and in chapter 10 we have to choose, help Boxy, or help Poppy. My only evidence is in Chapter 1 we had our own perspective then so far we had Poppy's I feel we'll have 2 games with our own perspective (1 and 10) 4 chapters of Poppy's perspective (2, 3, 4, and 5) and 4 chapters of Boxy's perspective (6, 7, 8, and 9). (bc cmon, Boxy never died and where could he have possibly be all this time? besides, we never see Boxy and the Prototype at the same time in the timeline, also, if the Prototype is just a robot skeleton why is Mob taking so long to show his face? BTW the Prototype hid from a camera in his cell to trick the guards, and Boxy has no voice box, which explains why the Prototype would need to mimic voices.)
I reckon we will get one more after 5. Just as a final fight with the prototype or something. I feel 5 will uncover the hidden orphans and we will have our first encounter with the prototype. There is also a lot more other monsters we havent met like Boxy Boo.
This game needs to end after 5. Then do something else. They will ruin it if they continue. Look at FNAF? It's not respected as it once was. It ran its course. It kept adding mystery and not telling the audience the answers of the previous mysteries

i think, after the game is finished, they should make a "hour of joy" episode, to live in the flesh, see with our own eyes what happens, maybe at the eyes of a kid or a security guard
we can choose 3 paths 1: stay in the factory and help the toys with poppy(assuming she doesnt die) 2: go with the prototype and set the toys free with the downside of you being there for eternity 3: explode the factory entirely remaining no evidence of it existing, but you die in the process.
Maybe at the end of the chapter we will need something from the other part of the factory. Many places haven't been seen for now. Also the series lore would be too easy to end it without any plot twist. Also I think that The Doctor is still alive
We've gotta be an experiment ourself or something; never dying, survived multiple long falls, being a "regular employee" yet still defeating all these big shots and also never seeing or hearing of ourself??
I think chapter 5 will reveal poppy as the real villain and will betray you and destroy your grabpack. With the twist being that the prototype is actually a sentient prototype grabpack that we will then use in place of our own grabpack.
How poppy playtime should end: saving the orphans using allies, confront the prototype, fight the prototype, factory starts collapsing, orphans are saved. Poppy is saved, the remaining toys are saved, but you are trapped right next to the exit with the prototype, he tries to attack you but at the LAST SECOND huggy wuggy appears and saves you. Boom, he gets you out of the factory and the prototype is crushed to death. and the main character goes home and the credits roll. THATS how poppy playtime should end.
Personally I think Poppy playtime should end after 1-2 chapters. Cuz Mob seems really good at what they do and It would be a shame if they stuck to making PPT sequels and spinoffs. The only game From the PPT Universe Id love to play After the main game is a Prequel set in the Hour of Joy. That would be amazing to Play through.
I do hope the game ends with Chapter 5… but there is one thing that gives me pause. I recall there being a poster or two that mentioned a sort of park built for the employees. Maybe Chapter 5 has all the lore stuff, we weaken the Prototype, Poppy’s involved, and we figure out a way to save the children. This then leads to Chapter 6, where at the Employee Park, we play games controlled by the Prototype, ultimately defeat it, and we escape Playtime Co in a harrowing escape sequence. Maybe the poster and this park mean nothing? Maybe it was retconned? Or am I being Mandela’d atm? But I feel the Labs aren’t 100% gonna be the end.
I think that we as the player have a greater connection to playtime as we could be a higher ranked employee who left because of guilt and have returned to destroy everything or seize control of the factory after eliminating the prototype. The doctor said it was weird that playtime co had such a talented employee and didn’t notice which could mean we were a higher ranked employee then the doctor and worked elsewhere doing cover ups for the factory but that’s just a theory
The doctor would have recognized us definitely, so not a high ranking employee. Since Playcare is a thing in 1976, we're likely orphan and grows into adulthood getting a job on Playtime, as employee of Innovation somewhere in 1984-onwards up until Hour of Joy.
Okay, while I think Chapter 5 logically makes sense. But I think they’ll make a chapter 6. One that would probably be a book end chapter, while Chapter 5 would follow us finally stopping the prototype. But that’s only my uneducated guess.😅

Here are some questions that are on my mind.
1) What evidence does Poppy have that proves the orphans are still alive? Do we just have to take her word for it?
2) Why didn't The Prototype release the orphans instead of keeping them in Playtime Co.?
3) Poppy still haven't given her explanation about anything. Did she really know The Hour of Joy was coming? If so, how do we know she won't betray us?
answer for 2) prototype would probably be seen by someone an at least 40 foot tall robot would be shot with a rocket launcher on sight plus huggy wuggy would activate security answer for 1) the prototype cares for the children plus in a coma you don't need food or basic stuff deep sleep is like a coma answer for 3) we just have to take the doctors word plus yeah she did betray us in the scene where the prototype drops the faking being ollie act (all of this is alleged so you could be right but idk i don't own the game have a good day or night or evening just have a good whatever cya ☺
3 makes me feel like Sawyer (The Doctor) will make a return because of The Prototype, since Sawyer tells the player about poppy, and her part in the hour of joy, yet it never gets brought up again which makes me think he'll return and probably snitch on poppy, making the player stop teaming with poppy, but idk, just a theory.

I think that in the end we will get to choose to either kill Poppy or the Prototype.
After all, the Prototype was real to his cause and didn't kill us despite the countless opportunities. Poppy, on the other hand, has betrayed both us (twice) and poor Doey.

I had a cool idea for the ending of chapter 5: once we make it to the location the prototype is keeping the “orphans” a boss battle ensues where we defeat the prototype and he either passes out or runs away. after we defeat him depending on whether the orphans are real or not we either save them and detonate some bombs we planted, or we just detonate them. whichever after the bombs are detonating we make a mad dash to the front entrance from chapter one where on the way there are countless old and new antagonists chasing us such as huggy, possibly mommy if the prototype repaired her, catnap if he was repaired as well. all ending with them being trapped under fallen debris. then once we think we’re safe the prototype emerges from a large fire and begins to chase us until we reach the front door, in which a final cutscene plays where the prototype grabs the protagonist’s leg and pulls them back and both the protagonist and the prototype die from being crushed by fallen debris.
I like the idea other then protagonist dying bc we don’t even know them and I think we should learn more about them maybe in like a sequel or smh but I feel like them dying could happen too
I feel like Huggy and the Prototype (who I theorize is Boxy Boo) will kidnap us in chapter 5, then The Prototype shows himself to be Boxy Boo and the next few chapters till chapter 10 we see the full prospective of Boxy Boo (Like Huggy and Boxy be the opposite, like the dark Avengers version of Kissy and Poppy) and in chapter 10 we have to choose, help Boxy, or help Poppy. My only evidence is in Chapter 1 we had our own perspective then so far we had Poppy's I feel we'll have 2 games with our own perspective (1 and 10) 4 chapters of Poppy's perspective (2, 3, 4, and 5) and 4 chapters of Boxy's perspective (6, 7, 8, and 9). (bc cmon, Boxy never died and where could he have possibly be all this time? besides, we never see Boxy and the Prototype at the same time in the timeline, also, if the Prototype is just a robot skeleton why is Mob taking so long to show his face? BTW the Prototype hid from a camera in his cell to trick the guards, and Boxy has no voice box, which explains why the Prototype would need to mimic voices.)

I reckon we will get one more after 5. Just as a final fight with the prototype or something. I feel 5 will uncover the hidden orphans and we will have our first encounter with the prototype. There is also a lot more other monsters we havent met like Boxy Boo.

This game needs to end after 5. Then do something else. They will ruin it if they continue. Look at FNAF? It's not respected as it once was. It ran its course. It kept adding mystery and not telling the audience the answers of the previous mysteries

i think, after the game is finished, they should make a "hour of joy" episode, to live in the flesh, see with our own eyes what happens, maybe at the eyes of a kid or a security guard
In the end we should be given the choice of who we team up with
we can choose 3 paths
1: stay in the factory and help the toys with poppy(assuming she doesnt die)
2: go with the prototype and set the toys free with the downside of you being there for eternity
3: explode the factory entirely remaining no evidence of it existing, but you die in the process.

I think chapter 5 will reveal poppy as the real villain and will betray you and destroy your grabpack. With the twist being that the prototype is actually a sentient prototype grabpack that we will then use in place of our own grabpack.

How poppy playtime should end: saving the orphans using allies, confront the prototype, fight the prototype, factory starts collapsing, orphans are saved. Poppy is saved, the remaining toys are saved, but you are trapped right next to the exit with the prototype, he tries to attack you but at the LAST SECOND huggy wuggy appears and saves you. Boom, he gets you out of the factory and the prototype is crushed to death. and the main character goes home and the credits roll. THATS how poppy playtime should end.
Mob entertainment can always pull an asspull and make poppy playtime season 2 by just making prototype not shown at all in chapter 5 and a cliffhanger
Personally I think Poppy playtime should end after 1-2 chapters. Cuz Mob seems really good at what they do and It would be a shame if they stuck to making PPT sequels and spinoffs. The only game From the PPT Universe Id love to play After the main game is a Prequel set in the Hour of Joy. That would be amazing to Play through.
I do hope the game ends with Chapter 5… but there is one thing that gives me pause. I recall there being a poster or two that mentioned a sort of park built for the employees.
Maybe Chapter 5 has all the lore stuff, we weaken the Prototype, Poppy’s involved, and we figure out a way to save the children. This then leads to Chapter 6, where at the Employee Park, we play games controlled by the Prototype, ultimately defeat it, and we escape Playtime Co in a harrowing escape sequence.
Maybe the poster and this park mean nothing? Maybe it was retconned? Or am I being Mandela’d atm? But I feel the Labs aren’t 100% gonna be the end.
I think that we as the player have a greater connection to playtime as we could be a higher ranked employee who left because of guilt and have returned to destroy everything or seize control of the factory after eliminating the prototype. The doctor said it was weird that playtime co had such a talented employee and didn’t notice which could mean we were a higher ranked employee then the doctor and worked elsewhere doing cover ups for the factory but that’s just a theory

Since Playcare is a thing in 1976, we're likely orphan and grows into adulthood getting a job on Playtime, as employee of Innovation somewhere in 1984-onwards up until Hour of Joy.

I was the player from poppy playtime running around the factory and hiding from the prototype

The Devs have talked about a chapter 5 and 6 in an old comment. Honestly I’m fine with it if we do have 2 more chapters because to be honest this chapter didn’t really Feel very penultimate.
And also the chapters have been introducing five characters and in the new poppy playtime game on Roblox has two more antagonists they are adding so we can play as(BOXY BOO DOESNT COUNT AS AN ANTAGONIST)
