I've recently switched from silver to fractional gold. I love silver, but gold seems to be the better buy considering that the dollar is going down the toilet inflation-wise.

Depends on the Tax situation where you live.
In the UK all bullion deals except Coins that are legal tender come with a 20% VAT liability. I'm trying to save money not give it to the government. So it's gold or nothing.

Anybody says carrying gold is bulky is crazy insane...carry $10,000 in hundred bills in your pocket and then carry 4oz gold...tell me which is a pain to carry around...silver yes...gold no...
