Yom HaShoah 2021

The mission of our Yom HaShoah commemoration continues - to remember the victims, honor the survivors, and educate the community about the history and lessons of the Holocaust.
This year, our commemoration will be held virtually and will continue the traditional focus on St. Louis survivors through their eyewitness accounts of the Shoah. The program will also honor our community’s Holocaust Torah scrolls and include music, liturgical readings, and prayers.

It is with my sincere thanks that I acknowledge the observance of Yom HaShoah. Thanks be to God for each of you and your efforts to remember, to teach all of us and to celebrate the fact that we live in this beautiful United States where we have the freedom to observe Yom HaShoah. May we all continue to appreciate the gift of human life and the generations yet unborn.
