I've discovered if you put some decorative rocks in the bottom of the pot after the cardboard but before the stuffing, it stands up much better

everytime i make a pot the dirt part ends up to small for the pot so i have to do a few more rounds

I have that problem too. That's probably why she did 46 sc for the dirt & 36 dc for the pot. I'm going to try it that way. I'm hoping it works for me too

It looks cute but the directions need to be better described in the top portion. I couldn't tell if you were doing increase stitches. Instead of saying "12 sc row 2" it really really helps if you add that its an increase stitch. I got really lost on row three and am still trying to figure out how you ended up with 18 stitches. ❤ Its a great video though super simple and i was able to make the "pot"

      I think it means
      row 1: 6sc
row 2: increase all stitches a total of 12 sc
row 3: (1sc in a stitch, then increase in the next stitch) repeat it until the end for a total of 18 sc.
      hope this help😊

It's unclear, too fast, the finger movements r confusing espc at the start, not a beginner friendly video.
