They used one game from the beginning of the year in which he was trying to carry the defense to say “this is who he is.”

They did the only difference for Jayden, he rushed for a 1,000 yards on the season, when he didn't need to behind a stout o-line and 2 top 20 WRs, and took a lot of unnecessary hits given his frame.

As much as I love Belichick, as soon as he said Jayden needs to learn how to stay in the pocket, I was like, thank God we didn't get him as a coach, that's why Cam Newton didn't make it with him. HTTR

And as for Cam Newton he was done by the time he signed with the Patriots, went back to Carolina on his last leg and looked worse. All those years took a toll as he fazed out of the league.

The game has changed long time ago, it's so rare to have a good OL for the whole year, the defense became lighter and faster, only a mobile quarterback can survive nowadays, and Cam was destroyed by our drama queen Rivera for the same reasons I mentioned, we have to have a duel threat quarterback, otherwise you can't do it. HTTR
@@lamassu4100 no SB team in NFL history has won with a mobile QB that likes to scramble as much as Jayden. I hope they don't ruin him like RG3.

You should be because Bill highlighted the glaring problems with him. Washington is definitely going to be looking for another quarterback in 3 years. Heisman Trophy QBs are almost never stand out franchise QBs, they've pretty much all been low tier starting QBs for bad teams. Just look at Marcus Mariota who is now the other Commanders QB, he won the Heisman in 2014.

Mark my words. I hated the RG3 Pic and I hate this Pic even more. The NFL is not college football. Rpo's are crutch plays for inexperienced QB's. Like Belichick said, he'll have to learn to stay in the pocket. It has been proven the NFL is not the place to learn this. The hits QB's take during this process is destructive to the QB's body, puts tremendous pressure on the O-line and turns the offense into a project rather than a weapon capable of executing with precision to get the most out of each position. How did RG3 work out? Case closed. If haven't learned to read defense and pass out of the pocket your not ready for the NFL. Scouts are lazy and don't want to evaluate to discover the real talent capable of succeeding in the NFL. Stop picking CHALK do the work.

My sentiment exactly. Read my post. What say you?
The only similarities is slender frame and speed. RGME had an attitude and didn't listen to coaches. JD is a hard worker and by far a better football IQ than what RGME had. JD will recognize in the offseason with help from his coaches that he will put on more weight/muscle. JD is already good at making the right reads. With NFL coaching now going forward, he will get even better at it. RGME thought so highly of himself at the time when he was drafted, but his flaw was he was too dependent on his legs for speed, ignoring the other elements needed to maintain being a good QB.
@@dmonsef I hope your assessment is correct. Frankly, I don't watch college football but I did see his highlights and those of other college players. Far too much running by these QB's to expect them to have good pocket presence in the NFL in the short term. They mostly look like 3 year NFL projects to me.
