I say this on every eric video because I think it needs to be known, I met Eric for the first time when he was cornering Kai Kamaka at a bellator event. I saw him just casually out and about afterwards and went up to talk to him and he was easily the nicest and most welcoming guy in MMA. Wasnt gonna ask for a picture or anything but he asked me to take one, and even went and grabbed kamaka and the rest of the team to meet me. Incredibly nice guy I cant say enough good things about, always pulling for him and his team.
Ive watch so many of Eric podcast appearances and this has to be the only time he sounded like one of the boys. Even Ariel couldnt get Eric to drop all of these behind the scenes stories
I was wondering why the vibe was so different. I kept mixing up Erick Nicksick and Tim Welch haha. Jebus. Loved this episode. Always love to hear a coach's insight on the MMA scene as a whole.

You MUST ask him more about accidentally going to a gay bathhouse in Canada w Chris and Eric to cut weight…..and then abandoning Chris when they figured out where they were. It was talked about on the Verse Us podcast w Strickland I think. I loved that you showed Eric his legendary pep-talk to Strickland between rounds against Israel. You forgot when he said to Sean “….having fun you sick fuck?!” Lol it was during another fight but I forget which one…
