I've been building my own trout rods and now I'm going to build my own agate guides. Thanks for making the video.

Great work! Helpful hint when sanding, move in a figure 8, the changes in direction/pressure will help prevent an uneven end product

What a pleasure to view a fine craftsman making these fly rod guides! Do you offer fly guide sets and tip tops for sale, please? I love he way you so carefully file the guide feet. Sorry for the late reply. Yes, we make split cane rods with all our own shop-made hardware. We are in the Chicago area. We don’t sell commercially but are happy to do some one off projects.
