Love watching people enjoying the Thermae, it was the first CB pedal I wanted. I had to wait a year before one became available (bought 3 other CB pedals in the meantime🙄). Finally got one, it blew me away, it’s like being accompanied by angels, a glorious musical box 😁

I only have the Habit, but this was the first Chase Bliss pedal I had ever seen years ago and I’ve so longed for one but never had one available when I had the money or had money when one was available…no other pedal works those pitch shifted delays that sound so lush and beautiful, and your video is the first I’ve seen the explanation why. For a long time I thought it was discontinued, but if I could add this (along with a Blooper and GenLoss2) with my Habit and Microcosm (my only 2 pedals aside from the Boss RC-202 looper) to my setup it would be the dream pedalboard for the glitchy, spacey, deteriorating ambient soundscapes I want to create that I hear in my head

    • @SlowHaste

@@ichidome I’m actually putting together a video with the Habit and Generation Loss MKii (I picked one up since the original comment) and an eKalimba and it’s a really fun pedal to work with. It’s like a delay with a buffer scanner for a 3 minute loop. The eKalimba makes it’s usual notes, but can be a percussive instrument as well and the Habit plays nicely with those sounds intermingling

Isn’t it though? I’ve played around with a few other digital pedals that can achieve a similar effect, and though I’ve never participated in the “analog vs digital” war, something about this particular pedal’s tone is super special to me compared with its digital counterparts

I just found out about this company OMG. So far these pedals seem like the coolest pedals in existence and they seem to ooze quality, which is probably why they're so expensive. I just love that all of these pedals utilize knobs and toggle switches, there's just something so premium about those two things. However, after looking into these awesome pedals it's pretty obvious they're targeted towards electronic music producers, which I am not. I play guitar. I envy you guys. 😭
