    Great video! Very complex machine. I used to watch a small time farmer pick cotton with machinery when I was a kid back in Louisiana. Lot of those small cotton farms are long gone. Brings back memories! Thank you 👍

      I be seen a few, but I had to visit friends in Georgia 😁😎
      I actually own a 9940 JD... Was converted to suck up specialty flower seeds before I got it...
      I bought it for the parts.. engine, axles, cab and hydraulics.
      To the best of my knowledge, it's the only one in Oregon 😁

    Do they go back over the field multiple times ? Noticed a lot still left.
    Also, do you then have to go back and chop down the cotton plants, or do you just plow them over in the spring ?

    • @michaelwhisman7623
      @michaelwhisman7623 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      They run a bush hog over them. No, they do not go over again. The cotton is pulled and only looks like there is a allot.

    Those are better than having to run module builders, but the John Deere is the only way to go. We run 7 and can get so much more done in a days time.
