Back when we first started releasing music (over two years ago 🤯) this was one of the songs that Stephen arranged for us to record in our closet. We ended up prioritizing some other songs and never got around to recording this one. So when we re-discovered this arrangement, we thought it would be fun to release it now as a throwback to the early days of our music journey. Back then we had no idea that we would grow a worldwide following, take our music on tour, and everything else that has happened. To quote the lyrics of this song "It feels impossible - it's not impossible - is it impossible? - say that it's possible" Now we are here, and it feels like we have re-written the stars. Thank you so much to everyone that has supported our music in any way!

My mother is 91 years old. She has dementia and English is not her first language. However, whenever I play your songs, she asks me to play them again and then tries to sing or hum the tune herself. She has never done this before. It is beautiful to see. We play your songs quite regularly and it always lifts our spirits. You create such magic and we are lucky because you share it with us

Fun fact I show my husband videos on TH-cam of people singing all the time and he quite honestly gets kinda annoyed with how many I have him listen to Lol! BUT when I showed him your first video way back when he was absolutely amazed and wanted to hear it not just again but 2 more times. I really love Savanna’s slightly lower range when she first enters. Beautiful and sultry and a nice contrast to Mat’s amazing upper range

Mat, you are my son's age; I am so blessed to see how God is using you and Savanna to share love, family values, and faith through music. Savana has definitely improved during this whole process. She seems to sing with greater confidence. She doesn't seem like a supporting voice to her dad. She is impressive in her journey to stardom. You two are amazing.
Mat and Savanna, you are one heck of a duo. Mat, I know you have to love working with your daughter and vice versa for you, Savanna. Savanna, it has been a privilege to watch you over these last two years. I have to tell you that when you posted "The Prayer,' during the pandemic lockdown, I cried the first time I listened and other times after. I listened to it many times and it brought me hope and peace. I was terrified to contract COVID-19 because I am immunosuppressed because of rheumatoid arthritis. I've been safe and avoided it so far. I think a lot of that was because of prayer. You two helped so very much. Looking forward to more from you.

I loved this rendition. I’ve always thought that Savana sounded best in her lower range and Mat sounds best in his higher range. This song was perfect!

Piano walks along with that little bit of urgency and Mat joins in -- and then WHAM! Mat's up in the stratosphere! I LOVE that strength and control, and he keeps it. Our next surprise is Savanna’s soprano voice nearly down in the basement, doing a lovely job as her voice matures with every song we hear her perform. Her power is even more evident when she duets with her dad; can’t wait until she’s got that same confidence and power singing alone. She weaves up and down the scale and knows exactly where she wants to go. She did say before that she enjoys jazz!

Just found this gem. Can't stop listening. Mat you have me believing anything is possible! Again. Had lost all hope. Never considered the possibility of rewriting the stars. Mat, your voice took me by surprise, when it goes up...I think it's one of the most beautiful musical moments I've ever heard. I love your daughter and normally love listening to your duets. She sounds like I imagine an Angel would sound. It's too bad she can't pull this one off. If she only had your passion, force and presence. Maybe when she matures and has her heart broken a time or two, she can release those inner feelings, y'all will re-do this one. See what I just did. Rewriting the stars.

OK....here I am eating pork rinds. I sit back and enjoy a very well written song. It's pitch perfect and the vocal talent of both of you is just as good as Nat King Cole, or anyone else with a voice quality that melts your heart. Mat...you should be so proud of your daughter. Her voice is perfect, and she takes after her dad, who in my opinion, has one of the best voices I've ever heard.

I do respect yaw's concern in these dark and unholy days were perversion is running rapid in our world especially our nation. You truly must be careful what you put out there. For me the song was awesome because of yaw's voices were perfect for each other and that yaw looked at each as a father and daughter. Yaw had the right emotion behind it and since you guys dress modesty it really just carries the right kind of vibe any way. They have to think of some1 else to be able to pull through w/ the song. I interpreted it as - trick/s of the trade-. we can only speculate... but they surely have re-written the stars of those who were uplifted by their songs.

I so enjoy watching your duets! I’m often moved to tears - your voices blend so beautifully and you are each amazing singers in your own right. How wonderful to have these recordings - for you and for all of us who love your music! My mom and I used to sing together, mostly in church, but it was before services were live streamed or even recorded so I have no recordings to listen to or watch. Now that my mom is gone, I wish it were different. But I remember and cherish the memories. Thanks for helping me do that. God’s blessings to you and yours!
