I lived in St Helena for 15 yrs, Calistoga for 14 yrs. Napa Valley was awesome when I moved to St Helena in 1979. It was alot like the movie 'Bottle Shock'. Then.....not too long afterwards, the old money millionaires (unpretentious good people) were being forced out by the 'squash-you-like-a-bug' BILLIONAIRES who's hearts are waxed cold. The rest was downhill from there. I moved to the next county north. No regrets.
