    I always want to be a nurse and I have a slight learning disabilitie and no nursing school would take me...Then I found a school in Hot Springs AR and it is a school for disabilities and they had CNA and its a program that last 3 to 6 months. It was really worth it and you had teachers that weren't there to just get you out they cared and would do everything they could to help us understand the book and skills. And yesterday was my state exam and I passed I was very lucky to find this place. ❤

      ima hurricane congratulations on your journey! I'm happy to know that the school you went to takes time to teach you everything, my experience was different because it was a fast paced program. Good luck!

      That's my biggest fear I've been thinking about taking a CNA course but the fear of failing is holding me back... I was always in smaller classes for focusing issues. Helping people is something I would love to do for the rest of my life.

      have a cousin who never studied much, she gives most of her time to her phone than studies,after writing the CNA test last month, she passed and I failed 😣. just found out she got her help from Mr Philip.

      Yes! I have 2 of my classmates didn't proceed to the finals. we had 4 exams throughout the course, and you need to pass each test with 83% . if you fail the first 2 you automatically fail.
      They also count the days of absence 2 absences is an automatic fail.

    I have a question, I’m planning on registering for AHP(CNA class) in the fall but I’m wondering if I could take my regular classes AND work my day job at the same time AND do my CNA course all at the same time? (Day job being a sales associate) what would you recommend?

    • @DougandMarie
      @DougandMarie  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      M3xicanvoodoo it depends on the CNA program you are taking. Some programs are 3 months long some are 1 month. The one I took is a 1 month program.
      I have to take 1 month leave at work because i have 2 classes in the morning and my CNA class is in the afternoon from 12-5 Monday -friday. Then the clinical is 1 week 2-10pm for 5 days. I think you can work on the weekends. It depends how you can handle it juggling them all. But that's how my day consist of taking 2 classes plus CNA course.
      Hope that helps. Good luck to you! You can ask more questions I'm here to help. 😊😊😊

    I wish I would have told you about the TB blood test! If you get the TB blood test, it is much faster than the skin test & only requires one visit to the doctor's office -- it is more accurate and better to do the blood test instead of the skin! You just have to insist to your physician that you want the blood test, they will do it!
