The Joker just used the model from the movie Weekend at Bernie's to know how to control a dead body. ;-) When the Designer pulled out a sword,figured since this was supposed to be in the past it may have been Ra's Al Ghul donning a costume just to fit in,so to speak.

Hey Benny! I currently serve in the Army and I have rather severe ADHD (Psychologist's words not mine) my entire life. I also often find myself needing to have mundane side tasks to keep that part of my brain occupied, otherwise I can barely focus. Prime example being that I need to listen to some type of podcast on TH-cam to drive, otherwise I completely zone out and cause problems. Luckily, the Army has provided enough structure as well as physical and mental challenges that it seems to be the perfect environment for me to operate in. I am rather curious to know though, how your Army experience impacted your ADHD tendencies and your experiences returning to civilian life?

Personally I didn’t mind the twist because personally (and like you guys) I thought the Designer was a stupid-looking, cliche character anyways, so I frankly didn’t really want to see more of him and was actually pretty glad that he was just a corpse

I don't buy that distracting yourself keeps you on topic. According to every neurologist I've ever heard talk on the subject that's literally the exact opposite of how brains and attention work...
This is just ignorance then, because I'm the same way as benny, not everyone works the same, you should've learned this in school but you are probably still going threw school so eventually you will grow up and learn that not everyone works the same mentally or physically.

According to the researchers and practitioners I've heard talk about the subject, attention is a finite resource. If you divide it up amongst more things you are not able to pay attention to reach one of those things as well. Kind of like water pressure. If the water being used in more places then you get less pressure for each spigot. Likewise if your attention is divided amongst to many things the attention to each those things suffers. It's why we don't let people text and drive anymore. Divided attention. It's been proven that fidgeting with things while driving decreases your ability to drive safely. You should go look up a lecture or find some scientific literature about the neuroscience of attention. It's pretty fascinating.

Also if my mind wanders mid-convo, I lose what the person talking to me is saying as well. I'm not diagnosed or anything but if I *do* have ADHD I think mine would be the inattentive type.
