I'll Be There - Song Parody

- This is a duet sung by me and John, @Carnivoreteacher1965 on TH-cam. We are good friends and met in person at KetoCon: Hack Your Health after connecting through online interviews and live shows. We are both carnivores, and he has a wonderful voice and talent. I suggested we sing a song together, so we each recorded the "I'll be There" song by Michael Jackson with lyrics John adapted for the carnivore lifestyle. I recorded my part in California, and John recorded his in Florida. John combined the recordings and tried to make the most of the green screen. I think it turned out pretty well!

He really does do a good job of editing it. I hope to sing with him in person someday though. We have the best time even doing it this way but we sing our parts separately and don't care it all together until it is edited into one video.

i have been on carnivore for over a year and a half - however - i do eat garlic and onions and popcorn
it was a real blessing for me to see your son's improvement

when i try to sing - i always sing - in between - ( in between all the right notes )
i live in florida now - but when i was a kid ( 9 to 13 ) - i lived in torrance ca ( 227th street - close to western avenue )

2 very striking things hit me about your story -

1 - up until God took away my social anxiety about 10 years ago - i also thought the exact same thing as you - i never wanted to go anywhere because i knew people would see me and be critical - it stemmed from my whole life not being conversive with anyone because i didn't want to talk about what they wanted to talk about and vice versa - so most every conversation would end with them thinking that i was strange - so i grew up knowing something was wrong with me - because no one liked me - but i had no idea what it was - right now - i have zero pictures of me except driver's license - employment id's etc - maybe 2 videos - i never wanted to be in a pic or video .

2 - i had 7 children - 4 girls and 3 boys - my oldest boy - from the time he was in diapers - he would refuse to do things like - get out of his car seat - then when i picked him out of his seat and stood him on the grass - we all walked into the house and he plopped down on the ground - i had to go get him - from there - it was every time we told him to do anything - like - brush your teeth to get ready for bed - he would drop on the floor and flop like a fish - ( this was before spongebob ) - when he got older - all the way until he was 17 - he would stomp his feet when he had to do a chore etc - sadly after he moved out - he was doing very well for a few years then he started having severe trouble and started drinking heavily - got on SSRI meds etc - then a few years ago - at age 24 - he ended it - od -

I feel blessed to have found carnivore, and doubly so that my son agreed to try it and has improved so much!
Social anxiety can be terrible, but it is still so crazy to me that I was oblivious to it. I just thought that was normal! Then when I put my diet right, my brain could actually function.

well - it was also oblivious to me - i never heard of social anxiety until after God took it away suddenly - before that i just knew i had a problem and if i interacted with anyone - or if they even see me - they will recognize that there is something wrong with me ...

i can tell you how it happened - previously - i never felt comfortable around anyone - even my wife and kids - the closer i got to anyone the more tensed i would be - then one night while having an argument with my wife - my second oldest daughter spontaneously gave me a hug - i did not pay any attention to it - i just carried on with arguing with my wife - then after - i went to sit at my computer and i sensed that something different happened - but i didn't know what it was - it took me several minutes to devise a test to try to figure things out -> i went to the other side of the house and gave each of my kids a hug and told them that i love them - then i went back to my room and sat and thought about it for a while and i realized that there were 2 things that i felt when i was close to them that i have never felt before around anyone - 1 - warmth - 2 - quiet

that is when i realized that God took the social anxiety away - even thought i didn't know i had it

a similar thing happened about my impatience while driving - a couple of years ago - now i can drive slow and calmly even on my motorcycle ... before that - i NEVER had any patience while driving at all ever
