  • This inspired documentary, explores the life and work of László Hudec, the Hungarian architect responsible for some of Shanghai's most notable structures from 1918 to 1945, such as the Park Hotel, the Grand Theatre.
László Hudec was active in Shanghai from 1918 to 1945 and responsible for some of that city's most notable structures. Through the eyes of his three children Martin (87) from Monaco, Theo (85) from Canada and Alessa (82) from the USA, we hear the fascinating true-life story of their father, the man whose architecture changed Shanghai's landscape.
The film also presents the never-before-seen 16mm home-movies that were shot between 1927-1938 by Ladislav Hudec himself.
