- Hey everybody I wanted to make a video on how I created my awesome photo booth that I use at weddings! I will list all the materials down below as well with some links for you to follow. Let me know what you think and if you have any cool ideas for something that you might want to build!

That's pretty awesome so refreshing to see someone using a Nikon LOL everything I see is Cannon we use DSLR booth pro with a D7000 conneted to CamRanger that wirelessly sends the pictures to a Laptop and 43" Screen then one of my guys prints the pictures the guest likes on a DNP DS40 printer this would eliminate the TV and one worker LOL very creative great job
Just curious why you use the DNP DS40. Is it because of the print speed?

I love how simple this set up is! Looks super portable! Mines a lot bigger and weights a lot so that the downside!

Dude, very nice build.
Now i'm thinking of doing the same but maybe cut out the camera hole large enough to fit a pcb ring flash.
And it looks like there might even be enough room to fit in a battery back.

HI VICTOR. AMAZING BUILD SIR. DOES THE DSLR BOOTH SOFTWARE WORK FOR VIDEOS? I HAVE A 360 PHOTO BOOTH FOR MY WORK, AND I AM LOOKING FOR A TOUCHPIX ALTERNATIVE SOFTWARE TO MANAGE CLIENT VIDEOS AND WORKFLOW.

looks great I built one very similar im finding that my tablet seems a tad slow when im using it for functions so looking to figure out my best tablet option?

Hey man. Great video. Just wondering. Do photos save to the tablet or the camera or both?
tablet only, old versions of DSLRBooth use to save to both, but they stopped that (card would get full and camera would stop during an event... not good)

Brilliant video. How do you find your tablet copes with green screen feature of dslrBooth? I've read they recommend at least an i5 processor

I just used the canon connect app with the timer adjustment before connecting the camera

Very nice, you did a great job! Im building my own photo booth as well, im using a canon t6 with dslrbooth software & had a couple questions.. what kinda flash do you recommend, speedlight or strobe? What did you use to mount the flash adapter to case?
mrbowtie64 I use a regular speedlight. I found out that I don't need that much power at all for it. The mount is a regular lightstand umbrella mount with a 1/4 screw on the bottom for it to link it all up

Hey thanks for posting this! I just got an identical setup and it's great, the photos look great on screen. but I just find that the photo prints end up looking a bit dark and the colour seems smudged.
Do you find that to be the case with yours too?

where do the prints go and how do you cut the in two
Carianne Celis the prints go to the cp910 that I showed earlier. It can be either tethered or use the Wi-Fi. I cut it in half with a paper cutter.

Hi! Have you already figured out the connection/attachment to the printer? Is it possible to use cable? Or how did the wifi connection go? Also, how is the Canon Selphy in terms of running the costs for paper and ink? Im just concerned that I will have to ask for too much fee just to compensate the costs. Thanks!
J C the costs of the paper/ink combo is nominal. Not much at all. As far as connecting to the printer, it was easier to connect to it via cable. I just used a USB splitter and connected them all to one USB hub on the tablet

I have a question: i have the program DSLR Photobooth too. But the photos take 15-23 seconds for loading on the notebook screen. do you have a solution for me? the notebook has 2 gb ram and the camera is the canon 2000D
Lower the size of the image quality on the camera, you might need 4gb. What processor do you have on your tablet?

What was the name of the box? Where you got it made?
george harrison the box is from Ikea, it's called the gunnern. I had the faceplate and backplate made.
Any ideas on where to find the Ikea gunnern now? Seems to be discontinued, if you have any links or know of a place please respond to this comment. Thank you

Rashawnda Grant what are you running the software on? If you are using a windows tablet or computer, you need to plug your camera into it. Then it will read your camera
Victor G Photography the camera that I got it matches the software but it doesn't match the printer so I went and bought a webcam which matches both now the thing I'm having problem with is I don't know how to run the software like I bought a template I take a picture the template printing out but the picture is not so I'm not sure on what I'm doing wrong and I have had it for 2 years now and I still haven't even use it cuz I don't know how to operate the software

Hi. How does the Vulcan Laptop do with regards to speed? Is it laggy? Or does it run dslrbooth well? How about printing? Is it fast? I'm going to be using a DNP Rx1hs printer for my photo booth. Thanks in advance for any assistance
The program runs well on the tablet, but I'm not running anything else at the same time either. The printing is only limited to the speed of the printer though.

Hello, Thankyou for sharing! May I ask what is the maximum 4x6 pictures your selphy printer can print?
I think the maximum it'll print before having to reload the paper is like 10. Definitely can get a better printer for this!
