    The Circuit Tracks has SIXTY FOUR sample slots per pack/machine state. It has 128 synth patches. You can, using an SD micro card, store and load 32 packs or machine states (so that's 32 X 128 patches, 64 samples and 64 projects).

      @aubergine777666 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Still it has only 3 minutes sample time which makes all these big numbers irrelevant since you can't disc stream from the card. Such a bummer that no developer thinks this could be cool.

    8 Benefits of the Circuit Tracks/reasons to upgrade from OG circuit: 1) the 2 MIDI tracks turn this into a OG on steroids Circuit + a polyphonic beatstep Pro. 2) The audio inputs combined with the two MIDI sequencer tracks turn this into a very affordable standalone hardware sequencer/mixer/brain for two additional synths. 3) twice as many synth patches and the ability to swap out packs. 4) Everything is a key tap (or two) away. Now that all the OG Circuit's firmware feature updates have been incorporated into this new unit, everything is one button away (e.g. microsteps, sidechain compression etc). 5) Ability to change MIDI settings on the fly (previously you had to powerup in setup mode and then restart the machine). 6) Per-pattern settings (clock sync, playback order and start/end point settings). 7) Better build and form factor and connectivity than the OG C. 8) Scenes (ability to store and access non sequential combinations of patterns with a single button).

  • @onyme_official922

    I don’t know or understand something, but tell me, have you heard a good 6-track electronic track? Why there are only 6 tracks on this device, this is kick drum, snare drum, hat, bass, synthesizer, synthesizer 2. I would like to add more percussion, vocal chops and possibly other sounds

    • @ghanezu
      @ghanezu 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Try Roland verselab mv1

    • @alexander_sinclair
      @alexander_sinclair 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, on the drum tracks, you can use any of the drums in combination. So you can put your kick drum, snare, hat, vocal chops, percussion, and other samples on one track. Having four tracks is probably more useful for having different reverb, delay, or mixer level on the tracks. Or you could just use the additional three tracks as an extension of the eight patterns you get for the drum tracks.

  • @samprock
    @samprock 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    With stereo & overlapping samples on the drums trucks I would get it for the size and looks. Otherwise - VerseLab.

    • @rodolphep0nthus555
      @rodolphep0nthus555 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Verselab is no way comparable.
      I don't really understand why everybody compares it to this.
      The Verselab is composition tool. You cannot play live with it, or you'll have really a hard time and have a lot of work to sort things out to do an acceptable performance.
      The Circuit on the other hand is a great tool for live performance, composition not so much.
      I am selling the Verselab because many videos and comments got me in the wrong direction, thinking I could also jam on it.
      No way, or you'll spend hours to prepare the jam, which makes no sense

    • @samprock
      @samprock 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rodolphep0nthus555 If you mean grid for clip switching, verselab does not have it (For Roland this will be 707), but has a straightforward song mode instead. As you mentioned as a composition tool, but not only that. Verselab shortcuts switching between note/section selection, mute with mixer+track, quick copy section pressing copy+section which makes a full copy and while playing a new copy, no interruption, is just another way jamming.
      Another use paradigm but as handy, as you could start with "master" section and keep going making song bits a pieces on a go, landing with a whole song structure in one shot (no need to press record on you grid performance to have a snapshot of your inspiration). This a way I approach it. So you don't have to prep different clips upfront to switch between them while jammin. Though yes, no perfect device for everyone, and not trying to convince you of anything. I have my complains to verselab, but at least found somewhat working to jam, while keeping snapshot of performance as a track right there. No other device offers that simplicity so far, maybe OP-Z, but that's another story :)

    Great walkthrough, but I find two synth tracks to be *extremely* limiting. Minimally I'd like bass, a pad, an arp and a lead to play simultaneously. If the midi tracks could double as Synth tracks for those who aren't interested in connecting external hardware, this would have been the perfect groovebox.
