I've had a similar understanding of those wonderful truths in 2nd Peter for some time now ,but like he said, the challenge has been how to go from legally possessing the promised to actually walking in them.
For so long I thought that praying for knowledge of God's will had to do with daily living, resources, money, what to do etc. and it may include these things but I regret that for a long time I did not know in a core, foundational way to pray for right character and right motive. Sorry if name icon comes up 2x. Some sort of computer glitch we don't know how to fix.
