Hir sir I have a question , I am a plastic mould maker, holding a technical diploma from reputed institution of India , I want to start a career in safety , so my question is that I donot have a degree , I want to be a safety engineer , presently I am doing btech in process engineering , bits pillani through wlp program which is aimed for working proffesional for me ( through distance) , I am currently working in middle East , how I have to plan , what is my career progression , can I able to make in safety field because I am from a manufacturing background ?
Hi, Yes after completion of your engineering studies, you should go for NEBOSH IGC first and later for NEBOSH IDip. After completion of these qualifications in HSE, you need to get a job in the filed of HSE to use knowledge acquired from these qualifications to be HSE Engineer.
My name is Ashraf, since 2015 I have being working I Qatar as a safety. My basic qualification is higher secondary from India. Then have completed 1 Yr private fire safety diploma and NEBOSH IGC. If I am doing NEBOSH idip, is it enough qualification to get position as safety engineer or manager without having any graduate qualification from home country,, please reply sir
