Seek Jesus Now | John

As the Feast of Booths continued into the week, massive crowds gathered to hear Jesus teach in the temple courts. Tensions grew with the Jewish leaders as they sent officers to arrest Jesus but the sovereign hand of God prevented anyone from laying a hand on Him. Questions arose in the crowd that convinced some to believe and others to doubt that Jesus is the Messiah. What more would they look for in a Messiah than Jesus? The Jewish leaders refused to accept Jesus as the Christ and confused His words and teaching. Jesus gave them a prophetic warning: “You will seek me and you won’t find me and you won’t be able to go where I am going.” This is the same warning for anyone today that rejects His claims to be the Messiah.
