Well done ! These are great videos of the Great Wall! Which reminds me... I should go through my India pictures and post some. I once again find myself personally spending a significant amount of time both reading and leaving comments. But so what, it was still worth it! I also found a great website of Mutianyu Great Wall travel tips, I'd love to share it here with you and for future travelers. Just google "wild great wall adventure tours"
The trick is to stall as long as possible and pay no attention to the guys yelling for you to stop or go slower.. then its a great ride all the way down without bumping into people!!! it also helps if you keep your hand steady while filming ;)
My friend and I did the same as a few of you and waited 5 mins before heading off, every single safety man shouted at us for going to fast, my mate infront took off also and i nearly came off at the sides many times! Would go there just to this again, it rained slightly before also so was extra good.
This would be an experience to write home about. I'll be in China in two months, think I might try this, but only if I don't go too fast. Yeah, yeah, I'm a scaredy cat I know still ....
The carts have a brake you have to pull up on in order to get it to release. The harder you can pull up on the brake lever, the faster you can go. But if you're too big (I'm 180cm & 100kg), your feet hang off the front of the cart & it's difficult to generate enough leverage to release the brake all the way and you won't be able to get as much speed.
If I were in China I would drive faster. Is in my plans to visit some day the Great Wall of China in a future.I found a good reason to go.Thank you to show this video.
I did this a few months ago when I was in china all the safety officers on the side kept yelling at use "slow slow no camera no camera!" it was worth it though
I did this and fell off. It started out so painfully slow but then it picked up speed and I couldn't slow down and the guys were yelling at me in Chinese (I'm sure to slow down) but the brakes didn't work and I finally fell right off. Traumatic!
zamarokbeast do you live like around like sydney that place and go to jamberoo near wollongong because i went before and going again this saturday but never rode toboggans
I managed to get airborne at the dip you see at 4:16, I waited for about 5 mins at the start to let all the slow bastards get along a bit before letting fly...sooooooooooo much fun!!
+JALAC DK Actully Jack last year when I visited china my family and I went down the track. You can choose what speed you want to go down at :P I went REAAAAALY FAST!!!! And then rammed into the person in front of me....much safety. But I also agree....music was quite slow
