My biggest lessons: Don't get greedy (stick to modest gains, not 'the big one'), avoid FOMO (accept you missed it and move on), don't invest for the sake of investing or things if don't feel right (bad news=record highs🤷♂️) and avoid the hype train. Like you said you have to accept you will lose money at times, but that's life!
PS: I love moving averages, simple but they work (mostly).

I watched a talk about trading and he was totally against the whole partial profits thing. He said that adding to a winning position is what sets him apart from failing traders and I think there is a lot of wisdom in that. Let your wins keep going and stop your losses early.

awesome. keep going Man. im about to hit my 2 year mark, and i've had UPS, and downs, im a breakeven trader 😅 i had heard before that it takes on average 2 years to be a consistent profitable trader. Im glad I never quit.

I just got into forex and I made my first profit through the help of expert Mrs Anastasia, wish I knew about this earlier

FACT: If you execute 100 trades you will on average likely lose on 70 or 80 of those. The key to trading is managing those losses. The other 20 winners will take care of themselves. That's THE hardest thing for most people to accept - losing more then they win. If you can win that mental battle, and trade mechanically without emotion, you will be in the top 10% of all traders.

I came from investing cryptocurrencies, to wanting to trade. Read a book on trading 101. Day trading require strict discipline. Can't be emotionally attach to trades. When executing a trade, it needs to be done with confidence. Also, always consider both side (the bulls & bears trend) when doing TA. Great video

I've had a demo account for a week now, but I may continue for another month at least before I bite the bullet. And I'll definitely start small.
Honestly this might be the most honest forex video I've seen. I really like your point about the 200 EMA. I'm still learning and trying different things on a demo but I find myself going back to simple charts with moving averages. I personally don't mind lagging indicators. I don't feel the need to get every pip. I much rather prefer clean and clear charts and I'm accurate much more often.....like way more often. Who cares if I only caught a fraction of the potential pips .......I still caught pips. I'm not trying to be a millionaire im just trying to work from home because I can't get my kids in daycare.

I have always found it odd trying out strategies shared on TH-cam without understanding the fundamentals of the signals.
I gravitated to this channel because it broke down the signals properly. So one gets to understand what they do. That makes it easier to develop a strategy befitting your style. Found your MACD video and binged through your channel the whole night. The delivery and explanation was just perfect.
Takes the longest time, but worth every minute.
Forex trading for beginners can be difficult. In general, this is due to unrealistic but common expectations among newcomers to this market.
The problem with trading is newcomers can often confuse luck with expertise.
Apparently everyone has almost a 50:50 chance of having a winning first trade, no matter their skill level

No matter how much effort I put into my trades, I still make more losses than profits.there’s always more losses and little profits with Forex.
Trading is very demanding.

My advice to everyone is just buy and hold Btc and Eth, trade it, invest in it.
I can honestly say the hardest part of trading for me has been knowing when to get out. I always make money on a trade but end up losing because I stick around too long and loose my gains. I have to learn to get out after making at least 10-20 percent. It's just so hard to leave a bullish pattern sometimes.
Greed and Fear..my main enemies also.
If you want to stick around you should learn to move your stop lost as soon as possible to break even. Then try to confine the price within these two lines which would both give you a positive net

So honest and real. This is just how trading works. Long term success needs to have a good risk management and a good strategy that you follow.
Forex trading, shouldn’t be seen as of getting rich over night. So many traders loss money heavily because they have the wrong mindset and approach to forex trading. But you can earn reasonable profit when trading with the right platform and mentor.
People need to focus on learning the skills needed to make successful trades, that way they can benefit from the market, even for years to come.
Most beginners go into trade, without having the required experience and a tested technique to go about trades. Like you said, working with a reliable expert as beginner is the right way go, if you want to get better returns and make good trades.

After one year of trading i can say these are the things i got from market and now i am at break even point
Good trades can be a product of who or what drives you. I have one of the best mentor in Forex trade Jay Adam's and he encourage me and help me make good trade decisions.
Bollinger's band set up is one where we can get most info - volatility ( bandwidth ). Trend direction ( 20 day SMA though Bollinger doesn't recommend it), Momentum ( the position of recent price vis a vis the middle line ). All I need is one more indicator RSI or MACD for confirmation. I also use 8 Period EMA for selecting Entry - Exit. This combination is a killer.
That's exactly what I experienced so far. This video makes a lot of sense.
You hit on every problem I am having right now. I am amazing with TA and charting prices and supply /demand zones but I am very inconsistent. This video definitely helped me to stay in the game a little longer. SUBSCRIBED & LIKED!

yup, that's true ... this overbought/oversold is a waste of time!
not really , but u should adjust it. for example im using TDI , in a string bullish trend ill adjust the ob value from 68 to 80 and Oversold from 32 to 46
I just want to tell everyone theres no such thing as overbough or oversold, ask urself this, how does that make sense that an indicator can tell u if something is overbought or over sold, thenindicator doesnt factor in news, company financials, how can an indicator tell u essentially the market cap of a stock??? if that indicator could tell u all this everyone would be millionaires and would make trading easier for the newbies because they dont need to dig into financials of a company or anything and estimate the market cap, think of rsi as it goes to 70 territory wall street (and im not making this up) people on the floor are yelling buy like crazy, as it approaches 30 then people are saying sell on the trading floor, use this thought in ur next trading day and i promise u, ur view WILL change!
@@denzosjs if used properly combined woth price action it can let u knownwhen market is exhausted, true dont jus buy or sell when its ob or os, but start reading candle stick around those areas
@@goldenstatew2399 just trends, pri e action, patterns is all i use to make my trades, 200 ema and vwap is there but eversince i took off all that rubbish i traded a lot better, but rsi doesnt mean it has to come down, ive seen rsi run past 70 mark to 80 multiple times and it makes sense if u think about it how i said it, where if its in 70 territory many people are rushing to buy in and its a critical watch for u to know that u should look to exit soon if it gets weak, usually in a min or 2 after the run it cools down and potentially runs up later but collect profits and re enter lower

actually a great video, i can agree an all points! started trading about 3 years ago and i also overloaded my chart back then. fewer good indicators over a cluttered chart is inportant. keep it simple. also the RSI OB/OS is absolutely right, nothing to add there made the same experience. my #1 tip is get a mentor, someone who is trading successfully for years and adapt what they do, this is also the best rule in life general to learn anything as fast and efficient as possible. learn from the best, get on their level then you can start to go your own path. theres many scammers out there but a few very good mentors for sure (and im not talking about the tradingview people, stay away from those clowns lol). so for me its
1. get a mentor and do what they do, you will understand why it works on the way
2. keep it simple (indicators, trendlines etc) the fancier the less likely it will work cause no one else uses it
3. use real money. you need to get through all the emotions of fear doubt etc.. only that way you can prevent from going insane on bigger trades, trust me
4. should come also from #1 learn basics before you jump on all the fancy stuff like elliott wave and fib retracements. learn all the patterns in price action, how to define risk (risk reward ratio) use stop losses etc.. price action is ALWAYS king before any indicator, so learn to read price action and when markets swing or top/bottom out

This is accurate, I made some of these comman mistakes too, Especially the gambler's mind in beginning. Also don't be so greedy and remember thats its not some fun guessing game thats what I learnt, it takes time, loss experience and little by little investment.

When I started I would use very small position sizes. Under 100 dollars every time. And my accounts did well. Once I started pressing and upping my position sizes I ran into trouble. This is a great and MUST WATCH VIDEO before anyone starts looking at price action, indicators etc etc. You have to master yourself before you can master the chart. Great video man! thank you.

*Risk Proportionally to Your Account Size.
*Slowly Increase Your Position Size
*Don’t Set Daily Profit Goals
*Don’t Compare Your profit with others you see on TH-cam.
*Have Other Sources of income
*Don’t Take Out Money From Your Account (Unless it's an emergency)
*Set Realistic Expectations

Good video,i prefer to use the 500 ema more than the 200,it holds more significant areas of support and resistance try it,the downside is you get less signals but when you do you have more potential profits anywhere from 100pips to 10000pips and beyond on certain currency pair,try it thank me later
holo, 500ema or 200ema is high or low set the Ema.
Overbought and oversold is related to stocks trading. Currency pairs can't become OS or OB.
I don't know why so many forex traders use it

I really like you, I love the part loosing money, I made my demo account from 10K to 1.2 million is 10 days. In the real account, I doubled my initial money and then when I made a couple of losses, my psychology when down the drain. I didn't loose more than 100 euro, so I learn a lot from loosing. It was a good school and even if I loose another 100, it is better to learn now, than invest more and loose bigger amounts.
