Like that you have a place to sleep for semi-stealth camping/ with the top not up. Perfect for a nap at a rest stop, for example, without having to raise the roof.

Great idea I am getting a project M topper and been trying to figure out how to put a bed in like what you got. Thanks for the info.

Awesome build, I have a front dinette and want to have a large side window so effectively add a side bench as well. So nice to have all those windows and open area to move. Your build is the best of both worlds I think 👍

You guys are great and love your work on camper . My FWC is a 6-5 hawk model that is like new for 2005 , but I am 6-4 and want to redo the thing and take out the water tank on the one side and put water in two 5 gallon plastic Jerry and make a couch like yours and also take the flip window seat and table out and old three way fridge out for a chess 12 volt and also change sink and heater to a diesel heater , since the old heater compartment panel is in the back of camper where the diesel heater would fit and tank .

    I'm planning my second build.
I can't lie, I took several screenshots of the dinette to bed setup. I'm a long way away from it, but I'll be sure to let you know when that video is up.
    Thanks for recording this! Blessings.

VERY cool front dinette seating. Did you make those seats with the hinges? Some more details on that would be amazing.

This dinette build is great. I plan on doing the same thing. What did you use for your seat backs that seem to fold down?

Hey thanks for the video. It looks awesome! I’ll be using some of your ideas to build a front dinette in my shell model.
Could you please share some of the dimensions you used for the build?
Like the dimensions for the seating extensions you built (that become the shelves for the custom bags)? It seems like the table width will be dependent on that.
Any other dimensions you think might be important to know would be super helpful.
Thanks a ton! This video was exactly what I was looking for!

Really liked this dinette set up! I have a Fleet shell model and think this will work great. I’m trying to keep it simple, just a place to eat and hang out during bad weather. Are you still offering the design dimensions for this? Thanks

Hi. I also have a Raven shell model and would like to install the front dinette like yours. Would you have the specific measurements that you used during the construction? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Nice job on the table set up. This my first video watching you guys. What prompted you to get the shell version?
Budget? Capability of being able to do what you want etc…?
I am thinking about getting a Hawk version for my Tundra with 6.5 bed and I am super handy so I may look at shell too….
    Thank you guys 😀

We arrived at the shell model basically to put in what we wanted and leave out what we didn’t want. We didn’t want a water system at all. And because we camp a fair amount in cold climates we wanted to ensure the water system was simple and didn’t need to be winterized between trips.

@@misplacedoverland thank you for taking the time to reply. Yes water can become a problem, I lived in Wyoming so I know what freeze can do.
Now I live in AZ so it is the opposite! I’d really love to get a camper like this. I wonder how long the wait is if you order…..

    • @misplacedoverland
      @misplacedoverland  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@titaniummaster1532 we waited nearly a year. I have heard that they are out 60 weeks or so. There are a few groups on Facebook that have used ones for sale and this seems to be happening more and more.
