Simple. Sharks are looking to multiply the company from 30 crore valuation to 300 crore valuation or more. Not grow it slow. They find mistakes and hence gave the perfect feedback which is genuinely helpful to the entrepreneurs. It is not that business will not grow. Just won't grow at the rate the sharks want. It is capitalism at core and everyone is compassionately ruthless.
I have to disagree with Anupam. Yes brands like Starbucks and Costa are selling a lifestyle, but there is still a huge section that cannot afford it but still want that experience. Especially for students, they do not have an income. Therefore, young people might go to such an outlet just to hangout and have a good time. Indian mindset is built in a way that they want to buy things at cheaper rates. These people focused on that, I hope the succeed

The thing is starbucks and ccd sell arabica coffee which is good for health and you can use this coffee seeds in 100% quantity while robusta coffee is not good for health thats why in robusta they add chikori and the coffee content becomes less and then this coffee is neutralised. Reason of price difference is that arabica is more costly than robusta.

I drink Blue Tokai coffee daily, even though I don't sit there. Most of the time, I do takeaway as I have to reach my workstation and start focusing on my work...

In my view useally I need a coffee or tea, but whenever I visit any cafe so they charge 250, so yeah I like to visit their store even at this price point they can Target tear 2 cities too, like many genz who can't afford CCD or Starbucks, but they wanna a good date in affordable price point, and ik that's this is a really to big Market, but maybe they need to give the cup of coffee some primium look, like ppl like me some time but coffee for flex lol
