Yeah that's why i only buy them every now and again usually just 1 or 2 but from different parts if its 2 to not get duplicates and get rarer ones through Ebay

I think the coolest from the retro minis is the picasso mr potato head. Can’t wait for that version of the funko pop to release.

My Pet Monster was a favorite! Yes, it's an 80's toy so you wouldn't have had it. I had one. 1/72 is actually Potato Head Jr. - I pulled him luckily by only buying two at Hot Topic the other day.

First I HEART when MomTopPop joins in! Second I always feel the bag before i open it!! My sweet husband brought home an entire case Of the retro toys. But bc he bought them at a target I’m pretty sure the case had been messed with in that it was not in the “factory setting”. So the ratios weren’t right. A ton it repeats. Didn’t get the my pet monster which is the one I really wanted. But I did get a weirdly put together mr. potato head and i got a glow worm wearing pajamas which I didn’t know was a thing. 🤷🏻♀️ still fun. But I want that monster!!!!!! Y’all are my faves! More mom

Hey Top Pops. Love the channels. When I was at my work last week (i work at target in California) and saw these mystery minis and bought the top layer. But for some reason decided to mix up two of them. Ended up getting three leatherheads, one in tan. One shipwreck and two glo-worms one of which was the exclusive as well. Anyways, keep up the great work. 👍👍

My Pet Monster was from the mid to late 1980's. The original toy line by American Greetings consisted of several stuffed toys (the main large Blue Monster, a large Red Football themed monster, and three smaller hand puppet monsters in orange, pink and purple just to name a few). Each monster came with a pair of Velcro strapped orange wrist cuffs with a break apart chain feature. To coincide the toy release there was a live-action direct-to-video movie and an animated series that only lasted one season of 13 episodes. The animated show was released on DVD by Trinity Home Entertainment in the late 2000's or early 2010's. The direct-to-video movie however has never seen a re-release from its original VHS release in the 1980's. The rights to My Pet Monster has changed hands a few times over the years. In the early 2000's Toymax owned the rights and released a slightly smaller, updated version of the main large blue monster only at Hallmark. Since then the My Pet Monster rights were bought up by Haim Saban's Saban Brands company, who themselves were then bought out by Hasbro in order to acquire the rights to Power Rangers (and the My Pet Monster rights came along for the ride). Aside from the recent Funko Pop and Mystery Mini I believe there has been a ReAction figure made of My Pet Monster since Hasbro got the rights.
