Thank god you made this video. I searched like crazy but the few movies I finally found were non-English. Also very happy with your explanation of the buttons and switches. Nothing about this in the manual. Oh and the diagram of the infrared sensors. So glad you showed that, I immediately took a screenshot of your video. Nowhere to be found. Great work dude. Thank you very very much. You just made my day.
Hey! Next day after watching your video. All the electronics, switches, sensors, additional button work great! Now I just need to get it mounted before the weather turns to shit here in south central Wisconsin,USA.
Thank you so much for your video. It’s very helpful though. I’m in the process of installing a similar gate opener as yours. Mine is a MD370. I have a question to you if you don’t mind. I’d like to know what amperage Interruption to use, if 30A, 20A, 15A, or 10A, breaker. I would really appreciate your input. Blessings to you. Odi Perez in Tujunga, California, USA. My, recently delivered, ROOMARK did not have batteries for the remotes. They look like 12v the type that were used in garage door opener remotes years back. Can you advise? The included manuals are of very little help and no mention of the remote batteries
I just checked voltages on the board I didn’t find anything suitable to run a light while the gate is moving thats a really good idea though i would like that myself
Wow thank you so much man! Could you please advise on adding additional remotes? Also, I've tried to connect it to my car's built in garage opener and have been unsuccessful... Is there anyway that this could be done? :'( Thanks again and blessings from Florida!
Yes so make sure the additional remotes you buy look exactly the same as the originals and they should program fine. I haven’t had any luck programming other remotes unfortunately. I hope you are well and safe being in Florida right now!
@@simplytinkerdad in an attempt to program the built in car remote I hit the learn button on the gate opener and hold both the programmed remote and the built in car remote but it doesn’t work for me. Am I attempting the impossible? If you have one in your car could you try it please? Thanks!
I tried it today with my chamberlan garage remote and it wouldn’t program I had tried in the past with a different brand garage remote and it didn’t work either I think these gate openers are set up on an odd frequency
Really cool video. Do you have a video on your gate specifically? I have a similar setup and have been looking at ways to automate it without using a track across my driveway. Looks like you solved that.
did you try with wifi switch? do you know if its possible to put a switch inside this motor and then operator it via phone app? Also if the answer is yes, can it work with any wifi connection or does it have to be 2.4 ghz wifi connection only? I know that most wifi switches wont work with over 2.4 ghz wifi connection
Vevor has another opener that looks just like this one that does have the Wi-Fi control built in so you can use your phone. It cost more so I didn’t buy it so I don’t have any experience with one
There is no reset might try pulling the cover and hitting the cycle switch if nothing happens try pulling the release lever and sliding the gate manually an make sure it isn’t binding
I think the chain version would be best for the most part because it is very easy to set up and maintain. The rail one is probably good too just my opinion
@@simplytinkerdad About remote control... It has 4 buttons. What functions does they have? Button1 is probably for opening? 2-nd one for closing? And those 2 buttons remaining?
Buttons 1 and 2 for opening and closing one button is for stop the other is for continue. The remote rang is pretty far the only thing I dislike about the opener is its not very fast
@@simplytinkerdad So this is 370W version? I don't know if 550 or 750W would be any faster? I think that speed would remain same due to gear ratio. In other words it probably has to be slow.
I’m still very happy with it for the money cant be beat. Unit probably wouldn’t hold up in a commercial setting running constantly but no issues with my use
@@simplytinkerdad The seller is dragging his feet about providing a wiring diagram/manual. Was there one or did you have to figure everything out? Thanks again for your time. What is the brand that I see on the case?
RC Angel is the brand of this one but it’s really just a generic china made opener sold under a bunch of names. I lost my manual lol I think it only explained the wiring vaguely though
@@simplytinkerdad I think that it is also a Vevor model. Now it's $220, I guess a manual/wiring diagram is asking too much from the Chinese Your wiring helped a lot.

Nice vid. Do you have tutorials for that sliding gate will connect to the wifi?
Thanks no I’m sorry i didn’t get the model with wifi

I don’t have a video on it but I just made some wheels from old idler pulleys off of engines you can buy legit gate pulleys but they are pretty pricey

What strength magnets did you add? I have some 15 lb magnets.

How to open the lever because it's jam and it's stock
