I thought the same thing! It would have been great if it was plastic instead of card stock. I think the indentation in the cardboard would interfere with the next page. So I will be using it as a “bookmark”. I can’t wait to use it already😅
I too was conflicted about the size and then finding a leather cover which is (VERY EXPENSIVE 😳) so I opted to buy a jelly cover from Etsy. I’ll share an update with all the goodies I bought for this B5!

Yes, you’re totally right. It’s been ages since I used an HP or EC planners and I forgot how big they were! I’m a little intimidated about the size tbh
The more I am using these kinds of planners, the more I'm realizing there is a lot to be said for having extra space around the notes. A5 is probably my favorite for now. I was using the smaller ones but I'm unfortunately finding my large writing just gets jumbled. Pages that are too cramped are just not as easy to read. This size you're showing can be good for Happy Planner lovers too. That is a really beautiful yearly calendar she included!
I agree, I’m finding myself needing more space to write in the monthly boxes and even more space in the blank pages. A5 and N1 has been my favorite sizes this year. But I got sooooo curious about the B5😅
Wow the camel looks so nice in natural light! Camel and mist are the two colors that I’m the most ho-hum about but they look better than I expected, more indecision haha

I'm getting the same one! Caramel B5 with white edges. Using it to keep myself organized in my classroom with assessment. I can't wait for it to arrive!
These calendar pencil boards are new freebies only included with purchase of a 2025 common planner (for every size, except undated planners). A lot of customers in the Facebook group posted their's. And as mentioned, every order should include the small envelope with a sticker freebie and business card.
Thanks for watching! It looks pretty versatile but Catherine (owner of Sterling Ink) is demonstrating it as an alternative cover when using a clear cover to protect your planner. But I will indeed use it as a pencil board just got to laminate it
I haven’t used a happy planner in a long time so I didn’t have anything else to reference it to but the current planners I have. But you’re right it’s like the HP large scale planner. Thanks for your input ❤️
that B5 freebie would look like it makes an amazing pencil board. I have the B5 Notebook with numbered pages. Love the size so far. 😊

The bigger the better is my motto at times! If I didn’t already have beautiful leather covers in A5, I would definitely had gone for B5.
