Great clip lads. As Dan said it’s about the dogs not the big numbers shot. I love a day when the dogs do everything right and I get a couple of shots off.
Lol different worlds. Here in the states if someone asks you to go on a snipe hunt the answer is a firm NO. they will leave you out in a field with a gunny sack or have you running in circles with a flashlight.
Was really looking forward to this one and it didn’t disappoint. Could you maybe go into more detail about a hunt like this? I’d love to do it but having never done one it’s a bit daunting and I’ve so many questions. Such as prices and hidden costs that a beginner wouldn’t know about, can you rent a rifle and what happens the animal after if you can’t take the meat home, which I presume you couldn’t as you were flying.
kranob1 if you jump onto the website Keiler.fr there’s lots of details there and Sorren, the owner will answer any other questions you have. Rifle hire is very reasonable and there are ways to bring some meat home depending on where to and how you’re traveling.
Great work guys, but not so easy getting the birds on ShotKam is it? All those shots on the snipe and not one ShotKam video of a miss LOL! That's alright nobody else will notice :)
Must be very easy to shoot your own dog on these kinds of hunts. Prob an important point of muzzel control. Keep your muzzel up beyond the horizon line I suppose.
Nice one, South of France is beautiful for the visit and the hunt...
That fallow buck was a stunner 😍Keep up the good work Jason 👍🏼
