@@metaldude55ify That's how I feel about most metal I hear, studio-style is always so perfect. The live performances are always more alive and I feel the artists have more room to add their own flair to things that really add to the feel of the song
@@StalwartSpartan298 Oh yeah definitely. There are some high energy/performance bands out there that are consistently amazing live. I mean, without it we wouldn't have moshing!
It's always so cool to see how humble and soft-spoken a lot of the monstrous vocalists and musicians in this scene are. Praising the crowd and thanking everyone who's moving and shouting along during and in-between songs like that. You can really tell how appreciative these guys are, and they don't take their positions for granted.
You mean in June? That's summer break! Catching that tour over in Jersey, fortunately... either way, glad I have you to thank for letting me listen in on this one!
I love traitors, and I love their music, butttt I think it would be really funny if someone cut up this performance to all the times they are standing there hahaha like not really doing much hahahah dont get me wrong, I am a huge fan, and I hope they get even slower and heavier, they fucking rule, it would just be funny to see a video like that
@@Kirkshelton the drummer explains why he needs the toothpick. His ear plugs are old as fuck and have built up wax. And they’re upset because this is their biggest crowd of the tour lol
Drummer was having in-ear problems. Looks like he wasnt able to hear the click due to either wax build up or internal problems with his in-ear headphones
I'd like to agree with you, because I'd like to see that beautiful face lash out those monsterous vocals. Although, having his back turned gives his presence this weird, "hardass, but there is a lot on my mind" type vibe. Its sick.
I saw him last night and he faced the crowd almost the entire time. I'm sure he's different every night. I'm sure sometimes the dude doesn't want to face people because he might be having an off day.
Wow, didn't realize this was in Ohio. Wish I could've seen this. I've been amazed how much metal shit there is here in Ohio. Edit: Of course there is a metal scene here, what else are we gonna do after we finish the heroin?
They had two guitarists, so I imagine they are doing this until they find a new member. I can't imagine them not wanting a second guitarist. It's honestly easier live to mix (well) a instrument over a backtracked version of the riffs.
Whizi yeah I would be a hypocrite if I said I didn’t like putting a ton of shit in the back tracks. They can still play their music without it, so it’s not a big deal
You made it sound good anyways bro so props. I always have trouble when bands have too many layers of backtracking cause it starts to sound messy. Plus bands always seem to want them to overpower their actual live instruments so maybe I'm just a little biased myself ahaha.
Whizi as you noticed after the first song they wanted me to turn up the tracks, so I guess sometimes I’m trying to help them “hide” the back tracks but they want them right up front in center. Usually the band lets me know before the set where to set the levels
Keeps the performance consistent. Cleaner. The drummer has a click track in his ear so it’s about as close to perfect as it can get. Having all the extra shit that’s on the album makes a difference too. Especially Traitors with all the spooky ambient stuff going on a lot. Gotta have it.
Like this comment if you wanna see a video showing how I mixed this
Leo Sypniewski Great job Leo, loved the show live too, absolutely love the venue
I'm actually really curious and would enjoy that immensely. Please do this.
Dude. This needs to be a live record. I think I would listen to this over the album versions.

@@carterfranklin1810 I think it's off of Anger Issues.
the RIP breakdown is too fucking sick oh my god
This mix quality might be the best I've ever heard from a live video. Also, highly recommend seeing this band live. The energy is absolutely unreal.

20:04 makes me feel like a nordic demigod wiping out all in my path
Coming up from the crowd. That’s a power move
God damn these guys sound intense live!
Holy shit. The mix is perfect
So nice of you to say
Love this band!!!!
yes i want to see how you mix these, please!!
A really good mix 👌
Thank you!
Best vocalist ever
These dudes rip so hard
Another god tier upload gooood lord this is amazing
I went from seeing 5 shows a week to jackshit. I need live music in my life before I explode.
hands down best metal vocalist
why do they not play dead nerves
Sounds way better with the ghost guitar playing the second guitar and doing the scraps.
No second guitarist? What happened to him? Just not here for this show? Killer set nonetheless!

daneguitarist1 they had a song that the breakdown was so slow dude tuned his guitar between beats
Someone needs to do a "meme" account similar to MuchDank for Hardcore....
Great idea. I think I might try my hand at that some time.
@@johnreeves6621 what song?
wheres the second guitar player...
THAT'S A GOOD TRACK LIST
That bass tho 👀👀, anyone know where I can find it?
That fucking intro will get you in kill mode!
Ryan “fluff” Bruce brought me here lol
Fuck yeah
i do wish they would tour with 2 guitarists
33:02 "This is.. really cringyy" even the pros feel cringy sometimes
As a drummer who's toured with a heavy band I cant think of anything you'd need a toothpick for, that you can't play without.
@@Kirkshelton Pretty sure he is having an in-ear problem, since they are using tracks and there are no monitors, he wouldn't be able to hear much.
Lame. Never needed in ears (hated them) and backing tracks are a joke
i think he need to clean the in ears with the toothpick or push a button on his device to reset it
@@Kirkshelton the drummer explains why he needs the toothpick. His ear plugs are old as fuck and have built up wax. And they’re upset because this is their biggest crowd of the tour lol
Legit the hardest shit iv ever heard
Fuck. Yes. So heavy
Perfect suka
Anyone know what bass that bass player is playing?
what happened ? t like 34 minutes

multiple backing guitar tracks?
fucking sick
I love Tyler but he really needs to stop playing the majority of the set with his back to the audience.

I say him turned around makes the room have a more ominious vibe, plus some people are too busy moshing to pay attention.
Any chance you're going to post the Clarity set?
Jon Durkin Josh’s vocals kinda went out after 2 songs
Jay on vocals, Silent Bob on bass.
Awesome set!! Do you have the SOTS Set too? That'd be amazing..
Valentin Salzer this show was just a Traitors headliner
Leo Sypniewski I later realized that too, keep up the good work!!
That snare... fuuuuuck!!!!
They remind me of pantera
How lol?
Yeah they're groovy
I can hear that in a weird way
There attitude 🔥
They did cover a pantera tune back in the day
5:45 fuck yes.
30:36 Oh Hi there...
I feel like my ass got whooped by this set
ayy whitechapel shirt in the crowd
How did you mic the drums in this live ?
The drum mics I use at the venue are e604 on toms, i5 on snare, d112 on kick
I have never seen a girls crowd killing

Awesome set but kinda lame they backtrack one guitar the whole show
Two guitars if you count the really low heavy one in their actual tracks. One through cab and one through tracks
