1. complete reversal of 5.5. Sounds like "back then everything was better", but its true. 2. A tech tree more like War Thunder: you need a certain amount of tanks of a tier to proceed to the next. Basically, once you owned, lets say three Tier 5s, you can purchase ur first T6. Premiums should be included in this. Maybe you could make it so you can own the tanks (bc it would suck if everyone got a free T5 in an event but you dont own enough T4s for that) but u cant use it in battles or only in rooms. 3. TUTORIALS, FOR FUCKS SAKE. Is it that hard? The benefits of proper tutorials are so obvious I start to think WG must have a reason not to do it, they cant be that stupid. Make it with small rewards, so its voluntary. Explain the mechanics. Side scraping, aiming for weakspots, Ammo types, camo, spotting mechanics....... 4. short description of the tank in the tech tree. short description of its history, maybe some jokes in the fantasy ones, and a really rough guide about its strengths and weaknesses. Two sentences would be enough, a little something to make it easier to choose which tank to research next and to master the tank. 5. Community interaction. Respond to criticism. Tell the playerbase about youtubers and websites in your tutorials. Just dont be a bunch of dickheads sitting in your HQ counting ur money while your game just goes down like a spitfire hit by an 8,8cm. Sometimes I feel like they dont have any passion for this game at all. end of rant, over
I think that the point you made about tutorials is very valid. They don’t have to be too long or challenging, but just the basics that some players seem to lack.
It is important to put everyone to a relatively standard level. At least someone needs know how to hide themselves correctly behind a rock or building.
Why can't WG make a better tutorial it not gonna cost em anything just make a better tutorial and leave a warning that if they skip tutorial they will struggle in high tier
More Times from better winrate players cuz they play low tier. Im trying to play higher tier more. So thats why im grinding New lines to tier 8 and then I only play tier 8. Currently I have 3 tier 8 and one of them is a Premium one but i keep playing and grinding New lines cuz thats what im about. I want to damn learn how to play the games and the maps
@@sbinnalamaster4530 i feel that. Man I hate it. The most of them are Kids that only play tier 5 to get good winrate. One guy said to Me corona to All my family and man I told him Karma will hit u hard. Its just too funny. These Kids are just pointless to be Real they should uninstall the game lol
Ik this comment is 11 months old but someone literally call me a noob bc I miss a single shot on a type 58 and cursed at me while the rest of my teams are pretty much saying gg
Back when is started playing, a premium was a sign of being a hardcore player, now it means that someone has a creditcard. Tier 10 was the crème de la crème, the best tier the place to be. Now it's just a tier where you can get it with a premium. Back then angling was a skill, now it's a rarity Oh 5 years of blitz, so much has changed for the worse.
Totally agree. I really missed the good ol days where angling , sidescrapping and solid teamwork filled my days in blitz... Now its just totally frustating game to play especially on tier 8 and above.
I agree mate, I haven't been playing for the entire time but I started around 2016, and still am trying 2 enjoy the game now. I'm not a free 2 play player but I like 2 actually put time and effort 2 enjoy tech tree tanks and earn premium tanks in the events and so. I have spent some money on gold and the Crom B but I haven't spent much, I rarely spend money on tanks as I don't need 2. Most of my prems I got through events and I was lucky 2 get the Drac from the Halloween event, which was a free container. Honestly, having sociable and fun games with friends has been the only reason for me 2 continue playing. I used 2 love playing my STA in tier 8,still love the tank but I hate tier 8 cause of how many premiums there are. I'm not a good player, jus above 49% but it is annoying when I play well but my team either rush and fall apart or dont do anything, and its true, its come down 2 luck with having a good team or not. I do miss the old updates, wish they didn't remove the low tiers and the kv 13. I really wanted that tank 2 :/.
For real yeah this happened to me. Found someone with a *100* battles in a T10 prem tank, and noone side scrape on high tier, everyone just do that on low tier
Yeah if you don't split, you lose. Going B Cap / Encounter Cap and either Church or Windmill easily helps isolate enemy for the win. Going all Windmill is just an easy lose, or a very difficult victory because it's just an open area and you lose lots of map control.
@@rezibaki310 all the fucking time my team goes all windmill. I hate that map because I am limited to play hiding in the houses down there whilst getting shot at by the enemy meds up in the hill whilst in my heavy or td. I cant go anywhere else because i may die to enemy flanks smh.
I guess I was a pretty mature kid (19 at the moment of commenting) when I first started playing the pc version. I remember going onto youtube and actively trying to copy what the player in battle was doing on my own keyboard... when I was on the younger side of my teenage years (around 13-14), and first started playing blitz, i would religiously analyse high tier gameplay from bushka and sk8xtrm. I would actively press the back arrow several times over in order to fully understand how they won that engagement. Don't get me started on tutorials, if the video was say 15 minutes long, I would more than likely spend around an hour or two studying it. In most recent years, this has really helped, and I still continue to do this if I don't understand the full context of the situation present. However, now I've started looking on forums, such as reddit and the offical forum, for advice on how to play certain tanks or how to handle certain situations. Now, i can comfortably say that thanks to those reviews, top tens, tutorials, and posts on reddit, I am now considered a unicum player
Lol. Literal t10 heavies and mediums thinking they are TDs and only doing like 400 DMG thinking they carried because they got the final kill! Happens every 3 games
Problem being when they removed all the low tier vehicles, new players get up to T6 7 8 way to fast because they don’t have that much tanks to choose from. And like you said they don’t have the verity of vehicles and playstyles anymore to learn before they get up the tiers So they start to play every tank like in T1 eventho they might be at T9 already because what worked in T1 surely has to work at T9 aswell… They just don’t get a feel anymore that different tanks have different playstyles and that no to tanks have the exact same playstyle… In my opinion WITH the 5.5 update they should’ve made a way better tutorial system with maybe even fun missions where you have to defend something or attack something to get a feel for driving a tank and positioning it. Or maybe a quick description for every tank and/ or learn videos within the game to describe how to play certain tank types to best effect with maybe some tactical hints to understand the battlefield better. And I hope they do add that in the future eventho it’s technically way to late… Save to say they could’ve ve done way more than they did and to be honest anything would’ve been better than what we got now…
S C O T L A N D yes that’s exactly what I mean And if they do it like this at least a Fcking overall tutorial for the 4 tank types… Is that so hard wg…
Chad Eren it’s common sense, if you want to play a competitive game, WOT Blitz isn’t the type of game. Go play a actually competitive game like PUBG, fortnite, or etc...
reminds me of that one time when I met an orange 252u player on the enemy team struggling I asked him for a platoon afterwards and well... with my in battle commands and him following me around like a good comrade, we had a 100% wr during that session hell because of that we both got our missions done and 500k creds richer x)
I recently tooned with a random noob from the chat just for a mission, surprisingly we won like 90% of the matches and I really enjoined the games, contrarily, when I toon with a high WR player I get nervous and I don't enjoy the games at all, biltz community got to stop being obsessed with WR and stats and just enjoy the damn game.
The Matchmaking is just amazing these days putting 45% players on one side while on the other team is mostly 55% + Today i had an match that had Me:58% An Platoon from [GNEIS]:Both over 65% and another Platoon:Both over 55%+ AND ONE 45% player Meanwhile on the enemy team there was 6 out of 7 Players under 45% But sometimes is the opposite you get all the inexperienced player while on the enemy team there are some really good players. FIX THE MATCHMAKING W.G Split them better, give the teams a few good players each.
7 vs 7 ----- "Yeah, good luck team!" "We have this guys!" "Let's go for the win!!" 1 vs 3 ----- "Piece of trash!" "Noob!" "Full health? LOL noob!" "I bet you wr is below 30%!!" Situations My team win- Our victory ! my team fail- Your fault !
Going off what you said, when I play against such noobs makes me play lazily and then when I end up going up against more experience players I end up forgeting that I need to use more skill
Maybe I am wrong, but the vast majority of mediocre and bad players are the main reasons for the great stats of 60 - 70% WR unicums. Why is everyone complaining instead of helping "noobs" to get better? Sometimes I believe having too good stats in Blitz makes these players pompous arrogant Douches. Don't forget Blitz is just a game and nothing that your life depents on...
Wargaming tho missed out on the job to teach people to get better For more information search for my comment in the comment section here where I describe what I mean in more detail
@@jps3903 but instead of complaining, realize this: YOU CAN HELP THEM GET BETTER. Also, your "good" at the game because others are "bad" at the game. If everyone was good, then everyone would be considered a "decent" player
@@strawberrydragon1 Hahahahahahahaha ahahahahahaha. Have you ever actually tried talking to the droves of 40%ers? They are even more toxic than skilled players, because they're so bad that they don't even understand how bad they are. Believe me, I used to try to offer advice to inexperienced players but it's like talking to a wall most of the time. They'll just call you a noob, or a camper, or an idiot, or an autist, or a whatever - it's the Dunning-Kruger effect in full force 95% of the time. Granted there are folks who actually want to improve, but they're few and very far between.
Its because they fucked up this once fun game i remember before the 5th birthday of the game there were actually a lot of good players and average players now its just kids who can’t even shoot and hit at point blank range
Because of them i always lose. 10 losing streak yesterday. And when i played my ISU, and camp so i can snipe enemy team. They call me a coward and BOOM they died just in the first 2 minutes of the battle. Sometimes u play good, but your team is suck
Bro same....It happens to me too the easiest way you can tell a noob if you are playing in a TD is if they call you out for camping and sniping like Thats what TDs are supposed to do.
Having nubs is great. More damage to farm. The enemy team has the exact same problem. Too many people act like it is one sided. Here’s the real problem, people don’t care about winning. All they want to do is drive tanks and shoot stuff. It only becomes a problem to the players that want to win. People can drive however they want. Fine by me. Like I said. More damage for me
@@drunkzilla3522 my answer is the AMX ELC BIS because it is the most popular light tank in the game because of it's speed and the best at dodging shells with it speed
@@88werwolfhun88 really? Maybe in some stream year or so ago. I really haven't seen anything like that yet, but if you think I'm a moron just because of this comment, it says a lot about you;)
I mean in all honesty that's not going to stop kids from getting on. Maybe 1% in which their parents actually look at the age requirement and also there are good players that are a bit younger. Not young like the 10 year olds but 16 and 17.
Why tho? Yes kids couldn't really be playing this game but WOT Blitz doesn't have any blood or curse (outside of chat) and it's not religiously offending to anyone.
Very good video, I respect that you called for the community to help school the new players in a respectful way. I think it is a very good way to change things and grow our game.
Tier 8-10 are the best tiers for having noobs in a team Tier 8 and 9 are fine if the matchmaker doesn't troll on tier 10, my WR isn't high, but I'm new to that tier (only Maus, Chieftain Mk.6, E 100 yet): -sometimes because my fault -mostly because op tanks in enemy team and very very strange players in my team I've got mostly bullies as "helpers" who don't see that they made a mistake too, only in one case I had somebody that helped me. I'm playing since the 7th Febuary 2019 and at the beginning I was a noob tbh In August of 2019, I realized what to do better and so I did. I can't help my stats very well anyome tho. My wish to Blitz is a permanent added PvE mode, where you have missions etc and an own team, maybe a thing like Steam Workshop and custom maps, missions etc would be great: 1st: you won't have a drunk matchmaker 2nd: It hopefully helps players to play as a team 3rd: you can make your own team and get with your Discord Clanmates into a mission 4th: You could make custom missions like 14 (probably only 7 because blitz) T-34-85 vs one Porsche Tiger or your xXMinecraftHardcoreMaster69420getrektm8Xx team versus a P1000 or modern MBTs or maybe my own Mothertrucker tank that's a chonk with too much armament (can send you an image on discord if you want, I built it from Lego and everyone knows the power of the lego) 5th: maps with more levels/stories (or however you call it), most maps only have like 2 levels to play (and yes I know that WoT is Arcade and WT the simulation)
@Бошњак same to me, but I'm a 47% noob because reasons (I burned my WR down with the M2 Light because I didn't know the game mechanics back in April or so and only realized them to 100% in August)
@Бошњак I going to buy the VK 45 B (already researched) and get the VK 72 but on the other side: I want my E 50 to be done and get the E 50 M because I need a tier 10 medium too And I sometimes have those toxic 55%-70% players too that spam the chat and this can make me unconcentrated. Then they bully me and ask me why I can't play... Others are those Russian players that can't speak English on EU servers while even Frenchman can: I don't understand them. They probably say something important, but I don't know what.
@Бошњак I think I can sidescrape with the VK. When I get a new tank, the first matches are in a practice room About the E 50 M: It has spaced armor on the sides, because it's grey in my scope but when I shoot there *0 damage*
Nice work, Pantouf! Especially from somebody who usually likes to rage (sry;).. I hope we all can do something together to help the one's that are struggling, it's the only way for them to git gud.. Even IF WG got a grip on itself and made the tutorial something that really EXPLAINS and helps in understanding the mechanics, or doesn't do anything for the players that already are playing. The only one who can do that, is us.
I'd wish all players would watch ur videos. At the beginning i was on a 39% WR. Last week i broke my 50% after 2 Years of learning and understanding the game and my knowledge about WotB is now way bigger than like 6 years before as i started in the age of 11
Kind of sucks for paper tanks. Oh and yeah, it’s kind of funny how we all predicted 5.5 caused the opposite effect. Give me back my MS-1 so I can launch it to space, goddammit.
i agree with Motorrider, the way the Premium tanks are sold, any 8 year old with Dad's credit card can buy their way to Tier 10. I do agree with you about the 15,000 games needed to really learn the game and how to properly play both Tanks and TD's. l see way too many TD's in the front line, and they usually die fast. No vehicle can last when alone, no matter how high it is rated. In your first segment, you were playing the Foch, and ran ahead. You had no backside support that I could see, and the opponents either stayed on their side, or went up the hill. A TD alone is a easy kill, yet none tried to get behind you. That made your point to me. I am still learning after 38,000 games. Thank you for posting. :-)
Great video! Really good points, and all backed up! Now we need WG to listen! Maybe you could make some tutorials for the new players to watch? Keep up your great work!
Ahh yes I remember when I was 10 and just wanted to play this game so I could go into the map and crush the cars with my tank. I can definitely agree with you on the fact that as you play the game you mature and get better after personally playing for 4 years. I also never thought about just how crucial those tanks where that got taken out in 5.5 Great video Keep up the good work
I am a kid I like to have fun I can’t get good My team is always more noobs I get lucky I carry the team But they end up committing suicide I am not happy Be a good player
I was a horrible player when I first started until someone messaged me after a battle and told me to watch sk8xtrem and that's when I learned about side scraping and using gun depression effectively. So telling "noobs" to watch these youtubers really helps (I was a 43% player and I brought it up to 51% wr)
Nailed it...fixing the problem will take WG to admit there is a problem and be willing to correct it even if it means limiting purchases.....I don’t see that happening
Well said ......its about time this video was made .....ive asked lots of u tubers to make a good video on this annoying topic and you are the first to properley address it .......as you say when they removed derp tanks and other tanks from tier 3 e.t.c. like a t82 that could 1 shot tanks .....new players dont learn that derp hurts and go on thinking all is sweet and easy and play the same way all through the tiers......plus seal clubbers are how you learn that there are goood sneaky and strong players up ahead in higher tiers and it makes you want to get goood in order to challenge these seal clubbers.....personally seal clubbers made me want to improve so i could beat them ))
So many mechanics you need to learn: Sidescraping Facehugging Sidehugging Tracking Correct use of He Using your armor and getting correct angles Getting around heavies and tds Ramming Using gold shells Efective sniping Spotting Making pinzer moves Making decisitions Reading the lineup Reading the minimap Pushing Knowing the tanks (Weaknesses and strengths) And thats all i thinked of, tell what I missed.
It would be a dream come true to have competitive teammates like at the good old 2014's to 2015's i still remember that each game on my heavy tank i have to side scrap just to bounce shells, now you could just comfortly wiggle your tank and you'll get bounces
This is absolutely right. Even if you have a split matchmaker... if you have a 50%+ WR, then you should be in one section of match making. Below 50% and you're in another section.
This is what we called matchmaking! Wargaming trying to balance the team with pro and nub, idk y but not even tier X, but below tier we're also facing matchmaking, Once u lose, u will lose straight in a row, unless u grinding harder to make u win the battles again, Here in Asia, nub is everywhere, toxic salty community, take note And most of players will yolo and blame others for not helping. It's so toxic AF!
I have this problem way to often at high tiers. I had a game where I did 4K dmg in my t57, the rest of my team didn’t even get to 1k, I was yelling at my mic “how do I win this shit game anymore? I’m a good player but I literally cannot win because of these teams!”
I used to have below 45% wr and about 500 avg damage in my 4-5k battles. Then this random unicum helped and teached me about everything. Now i'm on my 13k battles with 52% wr and 1200 avg dmg. From just simply get 500-1500 damage to carrying my team with 2-5k dmg. What an awesome guy
The first battle - yes, the meds just camped, but it’s a good idea to split meds-lights on one side and everyone else on the other. That way if the meds with their flank or the heavies win theirs they can circle and flank the enemy team.
100% agree. I only have ~4K battles but I understand you need to grind to develop skill, and take advice. Being able to buy a tier viii premium tank won’t make you a tier viii player... Maybe if WG put a barrier on premium tanks at certain tiers - say, you have to play x many battles to buy this tank - that might help? At least players would build their skill on the way. Agree with not being harsh on nubs too - everyone was a nub once and everyone plays to have fun, so let’s help each other to do it :)
How about now ypu explain me when some says right and some says left and to hill or camping in the base and you sitting in middle thinking what u should do next.....
@Pantoufleee well I can say that those noobs simply doesn't know or don't have a clue what is the most basic things that they should/need to know. Among the important things are map awareness, evaluating the situations, priorities, keep re-positioning/moving, who should they help in a tense fight, and more importantly know their tank's role. Usually they just camp in 1 spot and always think that they're losing the battle when half of the team is dead but for me that's the challenge to make an epic comeback.
That wanderfull time when someone say go A and the team goes B , so the guy that say A go suicide because no one listen to him , and then call all the team noob and coward . Then if you lose is ok so he lose it too , and if you win is also ok because he learn
Yea except I've seen tons of noobs like that and none decided to improve on how they drive their tanks or how to play properly so in a sense kinda waste of time. Usually I just let them die so that I can focus on trying my best to win cause I know all too well that you can't place any trust in them to help you win the game and ofc I usually win most of my games with a dead team or partially alive teammates.
Pantoufleee : don't split guys. Otherwise, you will lose! Also Pantoufleee but in stream : goes on one side while the whole team goes on the other end then gets destroyed 😂😂😂😂
Raphaël Wu Guérin he gave proper support fire to his team going towards base C hill. He just took another shooting position. I had games when not only the entire team went in one direction, they all took the same path and got cornered in one tiny space on the map. They were unable to shoot effectivelly, were soon surrounded and distroyed. So, all in one group / direction should not be taken quite as such
I noticed when I play tiers VIII-X and I try to employ the tactics I’ve learned from watching you or Meadsy69 I get someone from my own team calling me a noob 😩
I was a 44% player for a long time a guy I don’t remember his name sorry but he messaged me and suggested I drop back to tier 4-5 and work my way up as I got a Winning average in each tier. I did, spent 5-6 months in those tiers working my way up . I am still not the greatest player by a long shot but can be a productive team member now . I am at 52% now. Best advice I ever got.
And i only have tier 7 tank but mostly i just solo 4 enemies, my team dont even zoom in to see their shield, and when the enemy is moving they just think that they can hit the tank with just shooting exactly at it and sometimes they cant kill a tank with low shield until i help them... Its so annoying 😔
I am responsible of the noob thing. I got a tier X tank from the snowglobe and started using it. Bad idea because my highest is tier 6. Also about community helping, I found a guy who helped me with some basic skills with my tank. We need more peoples like that. Also I see people with 30% win rate that have tier 3 tanks from research tree and have lots of premium tanks.
The issue is that no one likes to be let down by team mates that don’t know what they are doing - but if those same players are spending money on gold and premium tanks - War Gaming has zero incentive to change it. The 5.5 update was to help retain the players for longer and make it easier to get to the bigger better tanks. Getting rid of the lower tech tree also meant they could sell us those tanks later And meant there was less balancing work needed - almost all low tier collectible tanks are below standard these days.
I completely agree with you, the fact that they got rid of tanks like the DW2 where you need to flank it to do dmg, how do the expect people to kill an E100 or a Maus
I dont mind the noobs and losing the game as long as they really try to be useful. Being a newbie in wotb myself, I know that sometimes it's hard to improve because most of the time, instead of encouragement to learn, all you get in and post battle is messages full of insults and threats. I admit I made mistakes too in some tier 9/10 battles but to get told to delete the game , go back to tier 1 ,along with insults and harassments is unfair when it's not entirely your fault. That's why I'm maybe 1 of the players in wotb to turn off the chat and just rely on quick commands. Yup probably it will be assumed as pessimistic and ignoring the whole point of teamplay and online gaming but it's okay as long as I keep learning about the mechanics and everything about wotb. As of now, i have just little over 4k battles 56 wr, avg dmg 1390 wn8 2210 so not bad i guess. My point is, keep trying and improving yourself despite being called a noob :)
Forget about telling noobs in a kind way that they are better placed in lower tiers learning the game. I have tried it with quite a few 38-43% noobs on higher tier who did 0 damage and were entirely useless. But all you get in return from this ignorant clowns is ridiculous insults. They don’t care that they ruin the games for their teams
I couldn't agree more with you on these subjects, I'm getting loaded with low wr and battle players in premium tanks with no idea at all, they're are wrecking my stats and wr as they can't stay alive long enough and so I can't put the DMG Down, I'm out numbered 4-1 even more some games. Seriously all because of war greedy giving the new players early access to them, something needs to be done quickly. War greedy know this but it suits them as it's like taking candy from a baby, in other words easy money for war greedy.
I noticed this years ago i had 52% win-rate in 2017 now i have 49.95% win-rate and i apply my skills every game but i always have garbage teammates that dont know what their doing. Another thing is because Wargaming made the low teir vehicle lines more smaller by removing a-lot of them that made new players advance to high tiers too easily. If Wargaming would let new players plat against Bots it really can make a huge difference because it will allow players to learn and pick up skills they are gonna need when they face more experienced players. Last problem is the match making putting 40% on one team and 50% on another team that doesn’t make the teams balanced and it wont help the noobs get better that just makes them even worse.
You can also blame events like the Christmas event, nothing more than a gambling/crate event that allows players with no experience and money to play top tiers.

Wg have been dumbing the game down for new players for some time. They have also been introducing ways to speed up progress through the tiers eg certificates of research. They've also made high tier tanks available as premiums. What they haven't done, and what I've said for ages, is introduce any means of testing skill to progress. The noobs do not need to learn how to play to get to tier X they can just fail their way to the top. This happened before 5.5 but it's got worse as the noob population have accelerated to the top. What I believe should happen is that there should be a certificate of upgrade reward in the big mission crate. To earn this before the weekly mission update means you will have quite a few objectives eg win battles, be top of team for damage, earn lots of xp etc. You cant just fail your way to a certificate. Then when you want to go up a tier you can only do this when you have researched the tank, got all the xp AND have a certificate. Whether you have to have a certificate every time you up tier, or just a certificate for each type (TD, heavy etc) or just one certificate per tier are options to think about. Another thing to prevent progress would be a no hits no damage no movement means no xp. If you dont contribute to your team you get no xp (even if your team wins) I also think, if these are introduced, that the game needs a reset. All players should be sent back to tier 1 and work their way back up. You keep the tanks researched and even owned, just you need to unlock them. This will mean some of the worse noobs won't ever be reunited with their tier x tanks. One way for them to keep playing would be to have a player vs AI mode where they can practice (like in warships blitz) I disagree with the "all go one side" analysis of Castilla. Where they went wrong was the mediums stopping when they didn't make contact. If they had kept going through your spawn you would have been in trouble. Instead camping up on the hill just allowed you to crush them in two groups. Worse they didnt even take cover on the hill - when will people learn that they look like ducks in a fairground shooting range when they're up there? As to winning loss ratios 7-6 is a rare result, my understanding is 7-3 is around the average. 7-2 shouldn't be rare and even 7-1, 7-0 steamrollers are statistically common. The reason is Lanchester's square law. Nice ideas but I suspect you won't solve the noob problem this way..they are too stupid to realise they are stupid even if they do want to improve (and many don't care) Good luck
I'm a 40%ter and kinda of a noob, I only got to tier VII-IX from the training videos from war gaming Europe, Such as tank dancing, side scraping, etc. The tutorial is still trash, from the point I joined. I didn't know how to play lights and mediums, I hope there's a new update for the tutorial to learn more about the tech trees and tanks
The problem is WG does not educate the players at all. The in game tutorial is still horrible. It only teaches you the absolute minimum. How to drive and how to shoot. That’s it’s. WG made a lot of official guides and tutorials for WOT PC. Not just on specific tanks (although that’s cool too), but on game mechanics and tactics and tank types as well. They have videos on How to block damage, penetration mechanics, concealment and spotting mechanics, how to play autoloaders etc. That’s what Blitz needs. It doesn’t matter who makes them, as long as WG sponsors them, puts their official stamp of approval on them and puts them in front of players. They could even offer a small reward as incentive to watch them. I think if all the Community Contributors got together and pushed for that with WG, it could happen. That’s what needs to happen imo. Individuals B independently directing other individuals to third party resources will never fix the problem. It’s too loosely organized. Too inconsistent.
Those tanks that got removed from it helped teach tactics. I used to have a win rate of about 70 and then that update guys and all I get are nub teams and it messes with how I play gave the time it's rare I get good teams and when I do I just destroy they need to switch back and your right about the getting prems of higher teir a I got my m6a2e1 and didn't use it till I got t5 almost 6 because it was a learning curve and took out the grind which I love about the game
Man, i remember a T54E1 camping in the back, we all pushed (we had no TD), he got killed and call us nubs, that he had more experience and was a 60% wr. We won, he did 600 damage and indeed, he was a 60%... With 2k battles
Have a tier 11 in game, for players with 55% wr (at tier 10)and a minimum of 20 000 games(both adjustable) and perhaps some other criteria. Have dedicated tier 11 tanks and perhaps some additional maps, That will bring the pro’s back, those that don’t mind paying for the privileges of being a tier 11 player and let those enjoying the game still have fun and not be bothered by noobs
5.5 was a disaster for us. It might have stopped seal clubbing (a stated aim), but it had the reverse effect. I'll bet profits have shot up (if you'll pardon the pun), and THAT is what it's all about...
Its super frustration ,i had a 20+ games in a row and you know what how many victories? 5!! Not even in a row!! Either i die first because they leave me to defend one side with all the enemies there ,or they just all out dont use their armor/angling/ and brains to team up with us all. Most of which likes to be that unicum that wants to get praised because of how cool their premium tank is!!! I have more than one and a half million exp spread around 2-3 tanks and more than a half milloin in free exp because most of the time im always the one left or has carried (but still lost most of the battles) Bottom lines is how do we separate ourselves who played for years with a good record to the noobs with their daddy's credit card?
Mostly kids play the game and they dont know anything yet, im stuck at 56% wr because of trash teams, i almost smashed my ipad but decided to stop playing when i got 3 loses. Some players play the game because of their personal problems, some players are trollish, the reporting doens’t even do its job well, like a hundred unsupporting conduct reports, yet no ban. WG needs to fix the game, i know that they are a company and needs money to be able to update the game but they should fix it, it is outdated a bit
Thank you for pointing this out I’ve been playing at tier 6 to get tier 7 and my team just aren’t pulling there weight soo I can’t accommodate for all of you
For me, I encountered a lot of pros in lower tiers, cuz logic, most of them are farming credits or just want to rekt noob players for fun... WG should mm based on their winrate and stats instead mm random people who are online.
Alejandro Lionetti, lol you can’t have players with high win rates unless there are player with low win rates. It’s not possible for a majority to have 50+ win rates
There are things that noobs do in my games that really make me think. I mean I never did the stupid stuff they did like yoloing in. This games is very logical and it just requires a bit of thinking and strategy
Mate, about the aggressive playing....I am the same. But there are many tanks that require aggressive playstyle like WZ- 120 1- ft. Foe example if u play against tier 7 tanks u can just face them and push really hard or even kill them all ( if they are 2-3)
5.5 and all this new modes where you can grind free XP without any influence on WR helped lot of noobs to reach tier X Also now you can buy tier X. I saw a guy with 39% and had 4 tier X in garage (premium/ collectors). I remember in the "old" days you had to "work" a lot to reach to tier X and by doing so you learned something
yep, you are right the biggest problem came when i play ranking battles on tier VIII and X. There are always 3-5 players in my team with at least 10k battles, 41-48 wr and less than 700 dmg per battle. And what in the opponent team? - more than 3 players have 20k battles, 58 wr and 1500avg dmg. I mean: thats unfair. How I´m supposed to get 4k points in ranking with this stupid matchmaking. And the worst is on the end. If i play regular battles i know that if I see the good clan in the enemys team I can be pretty sure that no one of my teammates have more than 45 wr and 800 avg dmg. I played a few battles in front of you Pantouflee and i always knew that i will lose. I mean: you dont have too much bots in your team, but the bots are very often as your enemy. I see (and its not only this month but for about 11 months) that players which have more than 60 wr gets better teammates which cooperate with them. For now, its not pay to win. It´s: better stats, better players Pls check my account and tell me what can i improve in my playing. Account nick: konstantyn777 PS: you are a student, dont you? what are you studying? I´m student too. I study military history in Poland
I think WG needs fo introduce a new MM (not WR) that's based on a quiz that you take every 20 battles. Its has 10 questions that ask you about the game and depending on your score, you get matched up with someone with a similar score. This is just many of the solutions I have to fix the "Noob problem" and the game in general
What's worse than noobs are captains who don't give any direction, especially in Encounter battles. The whole team sometimes just randomly scatter across the map and get killed.
One thing I started since i was 12 now 16.the entire run always serious, main goal progress further.i survive as long as possible, still outbeating most of my team by time and damage
1. complete reversal of 5.5.
Sometimes I feel like they dont have any passion for this game at all.
end of rant, over
They wouldn’t include side-scraping because it isn’t an intentional feature, and it would be something players learn themselves.
They do anything for a profit so they don’t care what we ask for or how the game is operating on a daily bases.
I think that the point you made about tutorials is very valid. They don’t have to be too long or challenging, but just the basics that some players seem to lack.
It is important to put everyone to a relatively standard level. At least someone needs know how to hide themselves correctly behind a rock or building.
The 5.5 was a good idea, because they can sell the collectible tanks in the battle pass 😶
If only wargaming would make a good tutorial
Edit : Wargaming's Plan : Remove 60% of low tiers and sell them back to the community for cash
This results in *Massive Stonks*

Back when is started playing, a premium was a sign of being a hardcore player, now it means that someone has a creditcard.
Tier 10 was the crème de la crème, the best tier the place to be. Now it's just a tier where you can get it with a premium.
Back then angling was a skill, now it's a rarity
Oh 5 years of blitz, so much has changed for the worse.

How many battles you have?
Problem being when they removed all the low tier vehicles, new players get up to T6 7 8 way to fast because they don’t have that much tanks to choose from. And like you said they don’t have the verity of vehicles and playstyles anymore to learn before they get up the tiers
So they start to play every tank like in T1 eventho they might be at T9 already because what worked in T1 surely has to work at T9 aswell…
They just don’t get a feel anymore that different tanks have different playstyles and that no to tanks have the exact same playstyle…
In my opinion WITH the 5.5 update they should’ve made a way better tutorial system with maybe even fun missions where you have to defend something or attack something to get a feel for driving a tank and positioning it.
Or maybe a quick description for every tank and/ or learn videos within the game to describe how to play certain tank types to best effect with maybe some tactical hints to understand the battlefield better.
And I hope they do add that in the future eventho it’s technically way to late…
Save to say they could’ve ve done way more than they did and to be honest anything would’ve been better than what we got now…
Yep. im one of the salty little btch noobs who got to the Foch 155 too fast and im trying to change

Tier 8 and 9 are fine if the matchmaker doesn't troll
on tier 10, my WR isn't high, but I'm new to that tier (only Maus, Chieftain Mk.6, E 100 yet):

-mostly because op tanks in enemy team and very very strange players in my team

My wish to Blitz is a permanent added PvE mode, where you have missions etc and an own team, maybe a thing like Steam Workshop and custom maps, missions etc would be great:
1st: you won't have a drunk matchmaker
2nd: It hopefully helps players to play as a team
3rd: you can make your own team and get with your Discord Clanmates into a mission
4th: You could make custom missions like 14 (probably only 7 because blitz) T-34-85 vs one Porsche Tiger or your xXMinecraftHardcoreMaster69420getrektm8Xx team versus a P1000 or modern MBTs or maybe my own Mothertrucker tank that's a chonk with too much armament (can send you an image on discord if you want, I built it from Lego and everyone knows the power of the lego)
5th: maps with more levels/stories (or however you call it), most maps only have like 2 levels to play (and yes I know that WoT is Arcade and WT the simulation)
@Бошњак same to me, but I'm a 47% noob because reasons (I burned my WR down with the M2 Light because I didn't know the game mechanics back in April or so and only realized them to 100% in August)
@Бошњак I going to buy the VK 45 B (already researched) and get the VK 72 but on the other side: I want my E 50 to be done and get the E 50 M because I need a tier 10 medium too
And I sometimes have those toxic 55%-70% players too that spam the chat and this can make me unconcentrated. Then they bully me and ask me why I can't play...
Others are those Russian players that can't speak English on EU servers while even Frenchman can: I don't understand them. They probably say something important, but I don't know what.
@Бошњак I think I can sidescrape with the VK. When I get a new tank, the first matches are in a practice room
About the E 50 M: It has spaced armor on the sides, because it's grey in my scope but when I shoot there *0 damage*

Ahh yes I remember when I was 10 and just wanted to play this game so I could go into the map and crush the cars with my tank. I can definitely agree with you on the fact that as you play the game you mature and get better after personally playing for 4 years. I also never thought about just how crucial those tanks where that got taken out in 5.5
Great video
Keep up the good work
Just go to a training room
I was trying to climb moumtains with tiger 1 lol ( there was no training rooms)
I am a kid
I like to have fun
I can’t get good
My team is always more noobs
I get lucky
I carry the team
But they end up committing suicide
I am not happy
Be a good player
The pay to wins ploblem.
Wz 120 . Smasher
@Personaje de internet how is m60, is5 and is6 pay to wins??
@Personaje de internet or chieftain?
maxlai[R1SK] theyre premium tanks dumbass
I was a horrible player when I first started until someone messaged me after a battle and told me to watch sk8xtrem and that's when I learned about side scraping and using gun depression effectively. So telling "noobs" to watch these youtubers really helps (I was a 43% player and I brought it up to 51% wr)
kevin the apple same for me but from 47 - 53. My friend was even more insane with 33% - 58%!
Nailed it...fixing the problem will take WG to admit there is a problem and be willing to correct it even if it means limiting purchases.....I don’t see that happening
Very valid points, I’ll be sure to share on our discord server!
Well said ......its about time this video was made .....ive asked lots of u tubers to make a good video on this annoying topic and you are the first to properley address it .......as you say when they removed derp tanks and other tanks from tier 3 e.t.c. like a t82 that could 1 shot tanks .....new players dont learn that derp hurts and go on thinking all is sweet and easy and play the same way all through the tiers......plus seal clubbers are how you learn that there are goood sneaky and strong players up ahead in higher tiers and it makes you want to get goood in order to challenge these seal clubbers.....personally seal clubbers made me want to improve so i could beat them ))
Absolutely right Pantouflee. This is the only solution.
So many mechanics you need to learn:
Sidescraping
Facehugging
Sidehugging
Tracking
Correct use of He
Using your armor and getting correct angles
Getting around heavies and tds
Ramming
Using gold shells
Efective sniping
Spotting
Making pinzer moves
Making decisitions
Reading the lineup
Reading the minimap
Pushing
Knowing the tanks (Weaknesses and strengths)
And thats all i thinked of, tell what I missed.
When your team is winning = Rush for damage
If your team is losing = save for HP for damage
Update 5.5 screwed the game and all of the players - and instead we are left with the stupid “honour” system and bloody avatars.....
Wargaming trying to balance the team with pro and nub, idk y but not even tier X, but below tier we're also facing matchmaking,
Once u lose, u will lose straight in a row, unless u grinding harder to make u win the battles again,
Here in Asia, nub is everywhere, toxic salty community, take note
And most of players will yolo and blame others for not helping.
It's literally just a game, ik it's frustrating but what matters is that you surpassed yourself and that is all.
risitas Yeh, but I find it annoying when I’m pretty good, but my team just acts like they just played the game
this is why we need XVM!!!! If i want to go aggressive or defensive, i need to know who is supporting me!!!
I got called a noob for getting ammo racked right away at the beginning.
I cried cuz the one who called me a noob was a 39% win ratio person.
Bruh F
U are not alone, I always have tier X guys with 1/2k battles and 35% wr
Well most of the time when you try to tell some one something good they will just reply with son bad words.
So, all in one group / direction should not be taken quite as such
@@sgn5896 no I was talking about him splitting with his team because he was reading the comments
@@sgn5896 it happens frequently cause he wants to answer his community's answers 😁
I have 40k battles 55% wr and I split every game
I noticed when I play tiers VIII-X and I try to employ the tactics I’ve learned from watching you or Meadsy69 I get someone from my own team calling me a noob 😩
Yeah i was trying use tactic from those blitz ytber and everyone called me noobs, useless etc.
Ive been called a lucky noob with 5 kills and top damage. I don't pay attention to them. I just have fun.
I am responsible of the noob thing. I got a tier X tank from the snowglobe and started using it. Bad idea because my highest is tier 6. Also about community helping, I found a guy who helped me with some basic skills with my tank. We need more peoples like that. Also I see people with 30% win rate that have tier 3 tanks from research tree and have lots of premium tanks.
yeah but now they has option chat for friend only. so now i can barely chance to talk with random player aftermatch.
The issue is that no one likes to be let down by team mates that don’t know what they are doing - but if those same players are spending money on gold and premium tanks - War Gaming has zero incentive to change it.
The 5.5 update was to help retain the players for longer and make it easier to get to the bigger better tanks. Getting rid of the lower tech tree also meant they could sell us those tanks later
And meant there was less balancing work needed - almost all low tier collectible tanks are below standard these days.
And they often brag about how myopic and selfish they are. This is WG’s fault.
Well the noobs make decent players look good. So we need noobs
Yeeeeeeeeess
I couldn't agree more with you on these subjects, I'm getting loaded with low wr and battle players in premium tanks with no idea at all, they're are wrecking my stats and wr as they can't stay alive long enough and so I can't put the DMG Down, I'm out numbered 4-1 even more some games. Seriously all because of war greedy giving the new players early access to them, something needs to be done quickly. War greedy know this but it suits them as it's like taking candy from a baby, in other words easy money for war greedy.
I’m eleven and not the best at the game but, I have a incredibly small wr of 49.56 and have 12000 battles. Love your videos pantouf. Keep it up
The 5.5 Backlash is still felt till now
I noticed this years ago i had 52% win-rate in 2017 now i have 49.95% win-rate and i apply my skills every game but i always have garbage teammates that dont know what their doing.
If you dont contribute to your team you get no xp (even if your team wins)
I also think, if these are introduced, that the game needs a reset. All players should be sent back to tier 1 and work their way back up. You keep the tanks researched and even owned, just you need to unlock them. This will mean some of the worse noobs won't ever be reunited with their tier x tanks. One way for them to keep playing would be to have a player vs AI mode where they can practice (like in warships blitz)
I disagree with the "all go one side" analysis of Castilla.
Nice ideas but I suspect you won't solve the noob problem this way..they are too stupid to realise they are stupid even if they do want to improve (and many don't care)
Good luck
I have more than one and a half million exp spread around 2-3 tanks and more than a half milloin in free exp because most of the time im always the one left or has carried (but still lost most of the battles)
Bottom lines is how do we separate ourselves who played for years with a good record to the noobs with their daddy's credit card?
Mostly kids play the game and they dont know anything yet, im stuck at 56% wr because of trash teams, i almost smashed my ipad but decided to stop playing when i got 3 loses. Some players play the game because of their personal problems, some players are trollish, the reporting doens’t even do its job well, like a hundred unsupporting conduct reports, yet no ban. WG needs to fix the game, i know that they are a company and needs money to be able to update the game but they should fix it, it is outdated a bit
Thank you for pointing this out I’ve been playing at tier 6 to get tier 7 and my team just aren’t pulling there weight soo I can’t accommodate for all of you
When you try to angle your tank but you angle it straight up 90 degree and get penetration at every direction.
For me, I encountered a lot of pros in lower tiers, cuz logic, most of them are farming credits or just want to rekt noob players for fun...
WG should mm based on their winrate and stats instead mm random people who are online.
Xenomorph 9/11 they do. The matchmaker does have some logic... but only a bit.
Not many players got 65% wr and above.... I would have a hard time getting into a game if that happens lmao
Alejandro Lionetti, lol you can’t have players with high win rates unless there are player with low win rates. It’s not possible for a majority to have 50+ win rates
Thats good. The the noobs will learn to adapt. They need to learn it the hard way
There are things that noobs do in my games that really make me think. I mean I never did the stupid stuff they did like yoloing in. This games is very logical and it just requires a bit of thinking and strategy
Mate, about the aggressive playing....I am the same. But there are many tanks that require aggressive playstyle like WZ- 120 1- ft. Foe example if u play against tier 7 tanks u can just face them and push really hard or even kill them all ( if they are 2-3)
5.5 and all this new modes where you can grind free XP without any influence on WR helped lot of noobs to reach tier X
Also now you can buy tier X. I saw a guy with 39% and had 4 tier X in garage (premium/ collectors). I remember in the "old" days you had to "work" a lot to reach to tier X and by doing so you learned something
yep, you are right
the biggest problem came when i play ranking battles on tier VIII and X.
It´s: better stats, better players
Pls check my account and tell me what can i improve in my playing. Account nick: konstantyn777
PS: you are a student, dont you? what are you studying?
Nice idea: teaching. Already on it!
good analysis . i am new _under 7000 games in 70 days_
