Making Some Sweet Hot Honey

I figured I would try something new after my friend mentioned that they likes a peppered honey. I am a fan of peppercorns myself and went down a rabbit hole watching people make it. I came across a few channels making a spicy honey and I thought that would be good to try.

I had honey infused with Habanero the other day. It was really good but not sure how it was made. Im assuming capsaicin oil because there is no pepper pieces in the honey....

I believe you are correct. That's why I made two of them. one without the pepper pieces and one with.

Does it pasteurized the honey?

The honey I used was raw and I do not believe it was cooked enough to pasteurize it but I am not knowledgeable enough to give a good answer.
