That's also the part that i love so much! I cannot stop playing this song! The message of this song is what i enjoy most but Bugoy's voice is made for this kind of music, just like you said. Thats exactly how i felt when i first heard him sing this song.
I agree, Bugoy, is extremely talented and he needs to do more reggae. On another note, you’re the best vocal coach on here. You have the best expressions on that handsome face.
Bugoy's yearning for peace with his raspy voice is very haunting, the lyrics is universal and the cinematic face of your face as you made a reaction gives me goosebumps.
Matisyahu took notice of Bugoy's cover on the Wish Bus that he invited him to perform with him in his concerts in the US a few years ago! Singing is like breathing for the Filipinos. It's so ingrained in our daily life we cannot separate it from our identity or our culture - whether we can (individually) sing or not. Most of the Filipino singers in the Philippines do not have formal voice training/lessons; some use unconventional techniques to practice singing. Singing is pretty much like dancing in Venezuela.
@@HofTheStage most singers you reacted started with no training at all.. they are mostly products of singing contest and winning it witout any training mostky because of poverty.. but yeah Filipinos love singing when we wake up, cooking, walking, riding, taking a bath. Most of them would be on birthdays, fiestas singing in kareoke.
Bugoy Drilon, if that is the singer's name, has the perfect voice for Reggae. I enjoyed this so much, I'm contemplating putting it on my current playlist. It's a great song for the summer! Thanks for the reaction and analysis. 💕
Maybe there's a Singing Multi-Vitamins available in The Philippines everybody's there could sing!. Way back on college I have like 2 roommates they are Filipino and Can sing they heart out like this one!. Whewww!!. Maybe it runs with the blood or maybe on their water lol.
It's our parents trained us to sing. A day when we born parents and siblings singing to a new born and also a music player played while new born sleeping.
1 reasons why There's Alot of Amazing Filipino Singers, its in the Blood, And Also Music For Filipinos is more than like Just for Fun, It like a Bond for each other
I love your very informative reactions & comments. This song was written by Bruno Mars, a Filipino & it was given to Matisyahu, an American Jew. Bugoy was invited by Matisyahu in USA as his guest singer, Thanks Coach fr. Manila. Stay safe. Pls. react to I;m Your Angel by Katrina Velarde, cause Bugoy is there in the group.
This cover, I like it very much, I heard some singing it but I was not moved, watching this one, I was touched by the way he sang it, it is full of emotion.
Plssssss react to him again ...he can do R&B with budakhel (this is his group ...bugoy drilon, daryl oNG,Michael pangilinan) feat.Katrina velarde .....they sing one sweet day plsssssssssszsssssss
Filipinos don't have secrets to have such voice its all coming from perseverance and love of music. As I was growing up on daily basis I always see my mom singing her voice isn't that high but she has a soft and sweet voice. As she sing I always try to sing with her, she annoyingly stop me 😅😅 because I really didn't know how to sing but I learn without her complete knowledge I badly just did what I want. Then now I had here way of singing tho she's already gone but people says I had here voice. I'm saying this based on experience for me Filipino are just passionate, hardworking and love singing. Its the willingness what drives even without practice or any related to vocal learning. I'm commenting just so you know more bout Filipino singing and talent where it coming from. To all reactors I know so far you were the best Sir, I'm learning from your videos seriously and so professional. Its my honest comment. Thank you for your vocal analytic and I watch your all Filipino reactions from the start because I'm learning from it (Its on my broken phone I create new utube channel so I can comment). God bless!😇 This is bad I comment long.✌
Filipinos really love singing. Doesn't matter if one has a good voice or music backgrounds, Filipinos will sing whenever they want to sing. It's so integrated in our daily lives. Even doing simple chores, or taking a shower, we would then start a humming, then turn into beats, then turn into song. It's our way of keeping our minds busy or just entertaining ourselves. And yes, I do agree that we Filipinos are so addicted in karaokes/videokes!
Although invented in Japan, the patent holder of the karaoke machine is from the Philippines. Maybe that’s another reason why karaoke is popular in the Philippines.
Karaoke is the key. As they say, practice makes perfect. Hope you can also showcase a few lines of your singing style before your reactions. That would be wonderful. And as usual, love your reaction again.
Its not about what we eat,,maybe its about when we were small like babies are parents use to sing us a lullaby u know for to sleep maybe that is the reason why we love singing,,and when we grew up our love for singing develop through practice in videoke,,cause practice made perfect..maybe thats it..
